*Lizzie's POV*

I head outside barefoot. Can't wait to tell y/n about this cheesy garlic bread with a honey dip that I made. She was requesting it last night. It was also a right time that Mrs. L/n was leaving to buy essentials and, after, a meal for everyone, which I insisted to have us share on the expense since we're going to have lunch on the same table with the same people.

The moment I step a foot in the field, she appears to my left and dive straight into the ground. "Oh my gosh! Are you ok?" I run towards her.

She turns and lay on her back while clutching on her right arm. "Are you alright? Where's Marj? I thought you were sparring?"

She smiles sheepishly. "We are. And yeah, I'm ok- I'm ok." I tried helping her sit when she lays back still holding it.

Near to my left, I hear incoming footsteps. "You good? Take a break. We'll just do another tomorrow." Marj said. "No! I still can- Arrhh! Shit!"

I looked at Marj, pissed. "What happened?!"

Marj kneels on the opposite side and check the arm y/n was holding. When she tried to drift it, y/n reacts. "I need to call Saf. Her arm's dislocated. We went too far, I'll be right back."

"Wait, what?! No! I'm fine- I'm ok! if you didn't just move it!" Y/n was shouting at her, but it's no use since she's at the door leading to the lab.

"Would you mind telling me what happened?" I move to the other side. She winds down and looked around. "Well... I requested an actual fight.. it was all fun, and I was dodging her moves until she hit me with a stick and a couple followed it- it's not her fault! Ow!" She focuses on her arm again when she tries to defend her. "But yeah, um..." She looks at me, constipated. "It's on me."

I was about to ask again when I hear a rapid clank of metal and Saf climbs out of the lab passage.

"I'll get the table." Marj jogs to the nearest table not far to the left of the field. "Can I go to the bathroom for a second? I'm fine! You - you don't have to worry!"

I think she's panicking, and she doesn't realize. The consistency of shouting is on point.

"Yeah, nice try. Imagine spending the rest of your day with a shoulder in an odd shape. I wonder what the others- specifically your grandma would say. Right, Lizzie?" Saf asks. "Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable. Please stop trying. Just let Saf fix it, please? Seeing you having a hard time and messy is stressing me out."

"Your healing powers — you don't even know how to use them. Careful." Saf said, Marj nod at me and I help her carry y/n into the table. "I'm actually trying! What you're saying doesn't help, ok?!"

"Does it not? Because.. I wouldn't be here if you know."

As much as I want to appreciate Saf right now because of how easily she can say the obvious shit without y/n getting offended and this banter, with y/n's situation we need to keep moving 'cause she's about to cry.

Y/n is now gritting. Tears are forming in the corner of her eyes and I can't do anything but to just be there for her.

"Oh, wow... That's your standard of being fine?"

"Saf, would you mind?!" I had to call her out because y/n is about to cry any moment. "Ok! Marj, hold her and you distract her." She points at me.

"No! Please wait! Will this be more painful? If it is, I don't want it-"

"It's not if you relax." I said.

"You just admitted you're not ok." Saf replied.

"Look at me." I cup her face. She was teary-eyed when she faces to me. "You will be fine, ok? Inhale..." I inhale and she followed. "Exhale."
