"Hey, wake up." A light slap hits my face. I flinch and it's my brother. I slowly sit upright. "I think you're right at this point. Just got back from the station and they are not there." He said.

Our current refuge is his trailer. All of our outposts including the HQ are infiltrated.

I put my feet on the floor. "They probably- shit!" Slamming back into the bed, sharp stings began to appear from my leg, arms, cheek and other parts of the body.

Chris comes in. "Probably what? Oh, you can't stand for now I forgot to mention. That's why I did the job that you were supposed to do- but hey- it costs a depending on me grand." He gives a cup of noodles and a med kit.

"I did the nanny work last night, now you do it yourself." He sits on the chair attached on the opposite side. "We need to hide, those idiots are now asking the public to help. One million in exchange for an exact info of our whereabouts and how to catch us."

I sigh. "Thought I would be impressed but... the only thing that's keeping them to have a good lead is that kid. Look at what happened in their operation, Who's the lead player?" Chris ask, then he points at me. "She's a mutant because of Stan. The reason why I hired him. I want us all to be enhanced, not only we can outsmart them.. Even if it's just the five of us- with that serum, we can beat a squad or more than that."

August 18 - 10 am

Saf, Stan, his family and Lizzie's security just had a peaceful lunch together in the dining. Everyone was aware that the two has something and it's up to them if they will confirm or keep it to themselves.

The sun has risen but the two is still sleeping in the cold-dimmed cozy theater. A lamp was on the whole time since y/n told Lizzie that darkness makes her extremely uncomfortable.

Both opens their eyes, collecting all of what they can remember, Lizzie snuggles to y/n. Y/n in return turns to her, still sleepy then hug her.

Lizzie smiles and pull the blanket up until their shoulder for more warmth.

After all that just happened, y/n still has the ability to pull off an innocent face. One you will never suspect who had an almost unbearable dark past.

Drowsily admiring her, Lizzie have so much in her mind.

Pancakes. Sandwich. Cereal...

What should be our breakfast? I bought a new recipe book. Should I cook something new?

But which of those would she like?

There's salad, pasta which i'm not sure I can make but I'll try, more sandwich recipes...

Gecko... How is he doing? I forgot about him..

I'll fetch her grandma by 10 pm later, should I ask her? I hope she's still happy to see her grandma...

"Stop." Lizzie puts her attention back to her. "What?" Y/n groans. "You're so noisy. Can hear you in dream."

"Sorry. I'm just excited. Five more minutes?" She caresses her back as she drifts off to sleep for a bit. "Hmm."

"And i'm going." Y/n replied directly to her mind.

1 pm

Even if it was not clearly decided, the two nap for almost four hours. Just like earlier, they wake up and move in unison. Y/n stares at the ceiling recalling something while Lizzie leans on her side, back to just staring to her.

After an almost deafening silence. "Good afternoon." Lizzie said. "How's your snooze?"

It took a minute or two before she answer. "Amazing. I dreamed of flying... I was so happy." Her face lit up. Lizzie kisses the top side of her head. "Good to know, it was worth it. It's not really my thing to stay in bed when it's time to get up."
