After staring at the cliff for some time, I tucked in my shirt before making my way to the top while everyone else was still staring and the teachers talking.
I sat down at the top, let my feet dangle off the edge. I took my phone out and sent a message to someone.
Shiniko: Wut r u playin at?
Smog: It'll all be revealed later
I sighed angrily and gripped my phone harder, "C'mon, you guys!" I shouted, "If you can't get over this, what chance would you have inside, and all the training would've been for nothing."
After some extra words of encouragement from the class prez, they started to climb, surprising Karasuma and Irina.
"See, we can handle this." Isogai stated, "Now, whoever's waiting at the top might be a different story. So hey, Mr. K, I'd be cool if you came with; we need a commander."
Koro-sensei persuaded Karasuma to be their commander. After a moment of silence, he told them to memorize the map of the building in three minutes and they enter in five .
I was watching everyone as they were climbing. Karasuma had to carry Irina on his back. Should be simple enough, right? Wrong. Irina wouldn't stop complaining. So far, everyone was doing just fine.
"Kayano, sharp rock to your right," I warned.
"That was almost ugly," Kayano said, sighing in relief.
As some of the students were close to the top, so I helped them up. When everyone was present, Ritsu did a run-through of their infiltration route and unlocked the side door.
The first checkpoint had multiple guards, guarding the place. There was a piano in the centre, expensive chairs and tables were around as well. The place was so fancy; everything was golden and red.
While Karasuma was in deep thought, Irina spoke up.
"C'mon people, what're we waiting for? Let's do this." The students looked at her like she had gone mad.
She started to stagger as she entered the room. She made her face flush, as if she'd been drinking. She walked towards one of the guards and bumped into him. Upon seeing her, he blushed as well as the surrounding guards.
She walked over to the piano in the center and started to play a piece. All the students were just as drawn in as the guards.
Irina told the guards to move closer to get a better view and as they moved closer, she signaled them to get going.
Everyone had already moved along, but Nagisa was still glued to the pianist. As I walked by him, I extended the tip of the wing, making it brush along his shoulder, causing him to snap out of the trance.
After we got past the first checkpoint, some of the students complimented her playing, before moving on.
Never judge a book by its cover, one might say...
As we were walking through the third floor corridor, Koro-sensei told us to act like they own the place. The students ended up with really, not so believable looks, so they gave up and kept walking.
Soon, as we arrived at the third floor central hall, Terasaka and Yoshida decided to sprint ahead, seeing how easy the mission's been so far.
As they started to run off, Fuwa yelled as soon as she noticed the man across from them.
"Terasaka! Watch out!"
Karasuma caught up behind them and forcefully pulled them back by the shoulders. Once they were out of the way, the man quickly covered his face with his scarf before spraying gas at point blank range.
Karasuma managed to kick the sprayer out of his hand and jumped back as the gas cleared.
Fuwa proved that he was indeed the poisoner, who acted as the server from the hotel, that poisoned their classmates. Karasuma fell to his hands.
"I guess it's safe to assume you're not here to trade. I'll have to tell the big man negotiations deteriorated. Oh well, you win some, you lose some," the poisoner said and turned away to leave.
All the students blocked his exit and I went to help Karasuma up. I might be small, but I'm hella strong and with the additional help from my wings, that I couldn't use at the moment...
The poisoner's exits were all blocked. Karasuma still had enough strength to stand a little on his own, the poisoner tried to spray Karasuma again, but he kneed the prisoner in the face.
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, he was falling with blood streaming out of his mouth.
I went back to Karasuma and supported him before he fell and possibly blacked out.
The rest of the students tied the poisoner up and Terasaka and Yoshida were carrying a table over him.
Before they could bring it completely over, I left Karasuma with Isogai so I could do something.
"Wait," I said, making the two boys stop in their tracks. I pulled out a permanent, black marker and started drawing on his face. "There."
The guys carrying the table placed it above his head and the class continued their mission in silence.
After everyone left the hall, I looked around and waited to stay behind to see if the poisoner had any more of the gas or weapons.
Karma grabbed Nagisa's wrist—he was holding the bag compressed Koro-sensei was in the , "Take your belt off for a sec, I'm gonna cram Mr. Have-a-Nice-Day down your pants so he'll shut up." he said pointing at Terasaka.
What the hell did I miss?...
"The hell you are!" Terasaka shouted.
They made it to the fifth floor scenic walkway. We lined up against the wall. Around the corner was a man who was leaning on the glass with blonde hair, blue eyes, and dark clothing.
After moments of silence, the man shattered the glass behind him with his hand, shocking all the students.
"Boring." he sang monotonically, "I can hear your footsteps, people. I wanted to kill someone interesting, not a bunch of amateurs." he continued talking, eventually all the students walked out from hiding.
The man recognized me and vice versa, but said nothing. All the students were thinking the same thing, and it was about the way he talks.
Out of no where, Karma and I asked, "Dude, what's with all the stupid 'huns' ?" With sparkles behind us.
" 'Hun' is how samurais talk. Read someplace they do it all the time to make them sound intimidating. I like the way it plays makes me feel badass." he answered and started to crack his knuckles just by bending his fingers.
As he was talking, I knew that Karma was up to something. I poked him in the back and secretly handed the gas sprayer to him. He was going to need it more than I did.
The man was about to call his boss or whatever to get rid of the class, but Karma took a small tree in a pot and smashed the phone into the glass.
"Speaking of letdowns. You seem fairly average for a professional, and I could break glass too, if that's all it takes. What I wouldn't do is call in reinforcements as an opening move, but then I'm not especially threatened by a bunch of amateurs," Karma stated.
"Karma! Stop!" Karasuma warned.
"His chin is down," I interrupted him, "Karma usually enters a fight with his chin up; looking down on his opponent. This time, he's looking straightforward; he's on high alert." I informed, forgetting to take that down as a note from previous classes.
Whoops, I guess I forgot to write that down in the notes...
Koro-sensei continued on, "Go at him with everything you've got, Karma. You're going head-to-head with an adult." he encouraged.
