The monster let out a war cry. They charged towards each other, but Koro-sensei got swatted away like a bug.
He shot around the balls in a pinball machine before crashing into the ground.
The amount of dirt and debris that was in the air was so thick it restricted our view. We couldn't even make out their movements.
When we thought all hope was lost, Koro-sensei started to dodge and deflect that thing's attacks.
"Deflecting attacks with the very minimum amount of energy, using dirt to block the blinding light, and closing in so the enemy can't build momentum..." Ritsu analyzed. "He's closing their battle-power gap through ingenious moves! That's our Koro-sensei, through and through."
We couldn't do anything but watch their fierce, out of this world battle.
It infuriates me that I can't do anything but watch on the sidelines...
Any attempts and distractions I make will only cause more trouble for Koro-sensei, and if I make myself a target I would put everyone else in danger too...
"Yanagisawa. Leave us." Koro-sensei demanded. "This is a place for students to learn and grow. You have no right to be here!"
"Still you fancy yourself as a teacher, eh, guinea pig?" he questioned. "Then let's put you to the test. Don't you see why we chose this moment to make our move?" He snapped his fingers.
All of a sudden, the monster was in front of us and pulsing red. It concentrated its energy into one arm until it turned white. It was going to fire at us—Koro-sensei's biggest weakness.
Koro-sensei rushed in front of us taking the blow, but it wasn't going to be the final one.
The thing started to circle around us, continuously firing from different angles and Koro-sensei protected us all.
"Stop, Yanagisawa!" Karasuma intervened, pointing his gun at him. "Don't drag those students in any deeper!"
"Shut up and watch, government lapdogs," Yanagisawa shoved Karasuma onto the ground when he blasted next to him. "You don't stand a chance against me now, let alone the both of us."
The monster held Koro-sensei in the air, restricting his movements.
"What's it like, seeing your students despair that they're holding back their dear, dear teacher?" he taunted. "Now do you see it? Your biggest weak point?"
"That's preposterous!" Koro-sensei shouted.
"This isn't a question of choosing right or wrong! They risked life and limb to try to save me and overcame obstacles to meet me here!
That whole journey, that dedication—they're the greatest gift a teacher could receive!
They're not a weak point, and they're not a hindrance! They're mty students!
And I'm proud of each and every one of them!
What's more, protecting one's students is a teacher's natural duty!"
"Soon your strength will run out, and the students you've been protecting? I will slaughter them." Yanagisawa threatened. "Now, let's continue. Better protect those sweet students of yours."
A BB gun went off, but it wasn't mine.
"What're you doing, you idiot!" I blurted out. It was Kayano who fired.
"Run, Koro-sensei," she instructed and tossed the gun to pull out two anti-sensei knives. "I'll buy you time! Just hide somewhere and recover!"
One of the monster's tentacles hurled towards her. Kayano managed to dodge it by a hair and stabbed it with the knives.
