Chapter 21: Kaede Time

Near the end of our summer break, Kayano called everyone to meet her at the school since she had a plan that could possibly take out Koro-sensei.

She brought up the issue about farmers throwing out excess eggs in bulk. Her plan was to use those eggs to make a giant pudding for Koro-sensei.

At the bottom, they'll have a bomb that will explode, spraying the BBs everywhere, and complete their mission once and for all.

Kayano brought everyone outside, and before their eyes was a giant pudding mold and other equipment which Karasuma helped get the funding for.

Poor Karasuma... He must've been stressed having to deal with the finances, let alone getting this project approved.

Though it got approved, I got called in to help make sure the mold and special parts would actually work, so more money wouldn't have to be spent on more materials for any do-overs.

"I give you Operation Pudding Popper!" Kayano shouted loud and proud.

"Is that why you've been calling me all the time about pudding?" I asked from above.

"Yup!" she answered cheerfully, to which I sighed.

Everyone was onboard with the plan and got started right away. It took lots of work and time, but it would be worth it in the end.

The next day, we released the pudding from its mold and used softened gelatin and agar to firm up the pudding some more, then topped it off with a caramel sauce and lightly brulee it on top.

The giant pudding was a success.

Wow, this looks so good... and I bet it tastes better than it looks...

I took some aerial shots of the pudding and took a few pictures together with everyone. It's not everyday you get to make a giant pudding with friends.

Koro-sensei was in awe of its glory. He started crying because his dream came true. We slowly walked back to the classroom and watched him devour the pudding.

I wish we could have some... Can he even finish it all on his own?...

Kayano looked really sad that her pudding was getting eaten. Then, she freaked out and started bashing her head against the window frame. Terasaka had to put her in a headlock to get her to stop.

Then, Koro-sensei appeared inside the classroom with the bomb and detached wires.

And he ate the bomb, nice...

"Since you all worked together to create this fine concoction, you should enjoy it together. I'd set aside a nice clean portion for each of you." Koro-sensei had a cup of pudding for each of them on his desk.

Sheeesh...

I devoured it like it was nothing, it was just too delicious.

Once the break was over and the second term started, Karasuma made us- err, them, train harder. 

Today was parkour crossed with cops and robbers. I couldn't use my wings for obvious reasons, but it was better for me not to be too dependent on the wings anyways. 

It's not like I'll have them forever, will I?...

I went my own way, separate from the groups that split up, and ninja-ed my way through the forest far, far away from everyone else.

Once I was far away enough, I leaped into the tallest tree I could find to get a better view of any incoming robbers and cop.

Not long after, Ritsu announced the first group of robbers who got caught.
