Chapter 30: End of Term Time - 2nd Term

After a nice, long stroll, I made it to the E Class building. I was, yet again, the first to arrive. I talked with Ritsu since I had to sort out my schedule.

I've been getting more requests lately, so I had to sort all that out as well. Luckily, she was there to help and I knew she wouldn't tell a single soul about who I really was.

Not long after, the students started to arrive and so did Koro-sensei.

"This time you'll place in the top 50, win your ticket back onto the main campus and heads held high, proudly graduate from E Class once and for all." Koro-sensei announced, since we were going into exam season again.

Easier said than done.

It was also news to the class that the principal himself is going to teach Class A.

They're gonna be in for a real treat...

For the rest of the day, we went through our lessons. It was easy enough, but some still have trouble in certain areas.

I put on my headphones and pulled out a book on medicine. It was quite a thick book, but I managed to get through more than a quarter of it before our lunch break.

Kayano walked over to my desk with Nagisa.

"Hey Shiniko, what cha reading?" she asked with a smile.

"It's nothing, just a book on medicine," I answered.

"Awe~, does lil Shiniko want to become a nurse or a doctor?" Karma barges into our short conversation. "I'll be your first patient, come on diagnose me." he leaned on my desk using his arm as support.

I looked over at him for like 5 seconds before coming to a conclusion.

"Let's see, you have a severe case of arrogance. Sadly, there is no known cure for the disease." I said jokingly.

"Shouldn't I be diagnosed with a case of being dangerously handsome?" he joked. "I mean just look at this face." We all got a good laugh out of that.

"Yeah right," I said smiling and closed my book.

I left it on the desk and took my lunch outside to eat. Even though it was cloudy outside, I didn't mind. The others, Kayano, Karma and Nagisa, also joined me so I wouldn't be alone.

We had a few laughs, luckily they didn't pry too much. I'd occasionally caught Nagisa staring at me, but I brushed it off with a smile.

Towards the end of the day, I walked down to the main campus with everyone. I was at the back of the group enjoying my music. 

When we got to the bottom, I noticed that Shuu was there, so I took out my headphones.

"It pains me that I have to say this, but I have a favor to ask of you," he said.

Karma and I tiled our heads slightly.

"I'll cut to the chase. The principal... I need you people to kill him." he requested.

You don't mean literally, right?...

"So to speak, I don't mean something like murdering him, that would be patently absurd. I mean you should kill his philosophy." he continued.

Oh, thank god...

I see... all we have to do is take over the top spots. For E Class to beat A Class would be a slap in the face to his policies...

"Asano..." Kataoka spoke up. "I've heard about the strained relationship between you and your father. Are you trying to attract his attention by denying his methods?" she asked.
