"Just stay the hell away from me."

KIARA'S POV:

I woke up to an empty bedside the next morning around dawn.

Rubbing off the exhaustion in my eyes, I didn't bother to get up. I ignored the ache in my chest, tightening the longer I wished for something I couldn't have. Just his presence beside me every morening I woke up.

Groaning softly, I sat up, leaning against the pillows. Scrolling through my phone, my eyes landed on a message.

Morning, Ayame. I apologize for not asking earlier due to the chaos happening in the dorms and the incident, but how is your shoulder?

It was from Shouto, and I blinked.

The only messages I ever got from him were ones for my birthday, Christmas, or New Years out of respect. However, it made me smile.

My shoulder is alright. Thank you for your concern. And how about yours? I hope you're doing well. I heard they moved you and your classmates into dorms.

Shutting off my phone, I slipped out of bed, contemplating my choices.

My mind replayed the incident back at camp when I was helping look over. One minute, I was fighting against Dabi. The next, I'm letting him touch and ruin me in my very own bed.

I didn't have the energy to cook breakfast.

Snacking on a protein bar, I watched the news. It was the same: a hero beating a villain and saving the day.

Today was my day off, and I would be back on patrol the next day.

My phone dinged, and I knew what I should do to put things off my mind.

THIRD-PERSON POV:

"Arakan?" Aizawa rubbed the back of his neck, his hair done in a low bun.

"Ohayo," Kiara greets, clutching her bag.

He stepped out, his voice a low mumble. "What are you doing here so early and unannounced?"

"Right," she exhales. "Are your students doing anything busy for class today?"

"You didn't answer my question."

"Please."

Aizawa exhales heavily through his nose, looking over his shoulder. "No, they're not. They're still settling into their dorms."

Kiara smiled slightly. "Is Shouto here?"

He cocked a brow. "Why Shouto?"

"I wanted to buy him lunch today," she said. "To catch up and... make up after the camping incident."

"How do you know Shouto?" He asked.

"Endeavor."

"That's obvious."

Kiara exhales. "I've known Shouto since he was like five because I knew his siblings since I grew up with them in my neighborhood."

When the hero doesn't respond, she adds with a sigh, "Look, I just want to do something nice for him, okay? The kid deserves it."

Eraserhead thought for a moment and gave in with a heavy exhale. "I'll bring the kid out. Just give me a few minutes."

Without long, the teenager stepped out of the dormatory. His blue and gray eyes glistened once he stepped out into the spotlight.
