THIRD PERSON POV:
"Kiara!" Fuyumi exclaimed right as she opened the door to see the orange-haired woman on the engawa. "It's good to see you again!" Her smile was wide in excitement.
Kiara smiled, accepting the hug as she returned it,
"It's good to see you too." She sighed out, slipping on the house slippers.
"Natsuo and Shouto will be here soon," Fuyumi informed, putting her apron on. "It's their school." She simply smiled.
"That's alright." Kiara paused when they made it to the same kitchen they had been in when they were younger. "Say... could I help you cook? We haven't done in a while with each other." I asked.
Fuyumi smiled excitedly. "Of course! You should teach me some of your recipes!" She suggested, pulling Kiara's arm closer to the kitchen counter where vegetables, meets, rice, spices, and sauces were.
"We're back," Shouto called out to the house as he and Natsuo took off their shoes and put their slippers on.
Kiara appeared from the hallway and they were both surprised to see her there already but Natsuo hadn't seen her for years.
"Welcome back, the food is almost ready." She stated, pointing to the kitchen.
"It smells great." Shouto complimented while taking off his school uniform jacket.
"Thank you." Kiara smiled but moved her eyes to the older boy. "Natsuo, long time hasn't it? You've grown so much, you're probably catching the ladies." She teased.
Natsuo became flustered, hesitating before speaking. "Y-Yeah long time no see Kiara!" He stuttered. "A-And I wouldn't say that!"
Shouto and Kiara both smiled at him before they went to the dining room where the food was set and plates.

"The food looks great guys." Natsuo complimented the two girls as he looked down at the set of food.
"Thank you!" Fuyumi quickly said back.
They all said their thanks before digging into the food.
"Natsuo, Sho', how has school been?" Kiara asked, taking a piece of fish cake from her bowl of Udon noodles.
"It's been good... I've been busy." Natsuo smiled shyly.
"He's busy because me and mom think he's seeing a girl lately." Fuyumi chimed in while teasingly grinning at him.
Natsuo's face turned red like a tomato and Kiara laughed with Shouto smiling over at his brother.
But the door suddenly opened.
Endeavor stood at the doorway, confused at the scene and surprised to see Kiara at the house since it had been years since she had.
"I didn't expect you here."
"Oh, dad!" Fuyumi called out, a drop of sweat on her face. "I invited Kiara over for dinner!" She quickly explained.
Natsuo gave his father a dirty look, hoping he wouldn't ruin the dinner; or even join he was having with his siblings and his old friend Kiara since they haven't eaten all together like this for years; yet it was when he stood there in the doorway.
"And we're enjoying it," Natsuo grumbled.
Enji had heard him, narrowing his eyebrows since he was used to it, after everything he had done.
"Ah! Natsuo!" Fuyumi scolded worriedly. "Dad, if you want some of the food me and Kiara made, there are some leftovers out in the kitchen!"
He looked at his daughter.
"I already ate some food before coming back from patrol. Thank you anyway Fuyumi, I'll leave you be." He said, before sliding the door shut and heading off.
"He wants us to try to forgive him."
They all looked at Natsuo who's head was looking down at the bowl of rice and fish in his hands.
"N-Natsuo! I don't think it's best to talk about this a—!"
"—Father knew what he did to us when we were little." He interrupted Fuyumi. "He said we didn't have to forgive him now, but he said he wanted to fix everything like he could even."
Shouto placed a hand on his brother's shoulder, frowning a little.
"Forgive?" Kiara questioned.
Fuyumi smiled a little. "This family is broken. I always wanted a happy and perfect family with everyone, and I had been thinking of being ready to forgive him." She confessed.
"I don't think I can," Shouto added.
"Me either," Natsuo said.
Kiara set her chopsticks down which caught their attention to her when she sighed afterwards. "Touya wouldn't have either."
Natsuo widened his eyes a little.
"You don't have to forgive him," Kiara added, her eyes darkened from saying that name. "After the abuse he did to you guys and Rei, I wouldn't forgive him either. If you want a perfect and happy family Fuyumi." She placed her hand on hers.
"There's no such thing as that." Fuyumi frowned, knowing she was right. "But if you want to try, give it a chance, even if you despise him, hate him, angry, upset with him too, maybe you'll see something." Kiara let go of her hand and started eating her food.
"Kiara," Shouto called out to her. "Do you think you could make more of those sweets you made when you were younger? The ones everyone loved?" He asked while smiling.
She was surprised but smiled and nodded.
"I realized I haven't had those sweets in a long time." Natsuo chuckled softly and Fuyumi smiled.
"Of course."

Everyone cleaned the dishes after they finished eating, making the sweets later all together as Kiara taught them the recipe.
All without him.
Touya.
But soon the moment had to end when Kiara had said her goodbyes to them and headed off home.
