"You're mine."

WARNING: NSFW chapter. I'll place a star once it begins.

KIARA'S POV:

"Don't forget about the hero's meeting that's happening tonight," Yuna said from the other end of the line. "It's regarding the hero polls and where the new location will be."

"I know." I set my mug down, resting a teabag inside. "But it'll frustrating to face Endeavor."

She chuckled softly from the other end. "Hey, you've faced him many times. I'm sure you can do it once more."

"Yeah, you're right. I'll see you there," I agreed.

"Right. See ya."

The phone call ended, and I rested my phone on the kitchen counter. I eyed the clock, contemplating I should be there in fifteen minutes. It was rude to be late, but a part of me wanted to stay behind. Hero charts didn't matter to me. All that mattered was that I could be a better hero than the now No. 1 hero, Endeavor. To show him it didn't matter if ranks mattered.

The only thing that mattered was to ensure people were safe.

Not suffering.

"Who were you talking to?"

I spun around, reaching out with my fist to punch the stranger behind me. He grabbed my fist, and then only I realized that it was Dabi with an unfazed expression.

"Geez, don't be so paranoid," he said, dragging me over until our chests were pressed.

"Says the man who snuck into my house!" My heart was racing, and this is one thing I hated about Dabi: his never replying to my messages at one point to his arriving at my house unannounced.

He rolled his eyes. "I didn't snuck in. I have an extra way of getting in."

He leaned down, his breath hot against my skin. "You didn't answer my question. Who were you talking to?"

"Kyoshi." I used her hero's name. "The hero—"

"Yeah, yeah. I get it." Dabi brushed it off, peeking over my shoulder. "Now, what're you making?"

I cocked a brow. "Isn't it obvious? Tea."

The minute the kettle whistled, I pulled away. I poured the hot water into two mugs, letting the teabags soak.

I offered one to him. "Drink it."

He eyed it, reaching out to take a sip. He didn't bother blowing it to cool down. I wondered if he burned his tongue like he did with his Quirk in some way.

Setting his cup down, our gazes met.

"What?"

Dabi didn't respond. Instead, he lifts me under my arms, setting me down on the counter. The mug I was holding spilled the hot liquid onto my blouse, earning a hiss escaping my lips.

"Ow, watch it, Dabi," I winced, observing his movements by moving the cup out of my hands.

★★★

He kept a neutral expression, fisting my blouse before tugging it. The buttons popped off, flying out to expose my bra-covered breasts.

My face burned red. "Dabi, what're you doing? I have a meeting—"

Dabi shut me up by crashing his lips against mine. He kissed me intensely and almost desperately with need. His calloused hand brushed along my clothed chest, and I felt my sensitive buds peek up.
