"How are you feeling?"
(Y/n) lifted her head from the covers of her futon to see a familiar tuft of bed hair looming over her. A tired groan left her lips as she pulled the covers back over her head, burying her inside. "What do you want Kuroo." her voice muffled from the blanket.
Kuroo smirked poking her side as she squirmed from discomfort, "Your coach wanted me to check up on you to see how you were doing?"
"I'm fine.." she mumbled.
"Well, if you want there's going to be to be a practice game." he informed her as he sat down next to her futon leaning back on his hands on the floor. "Do you want to come and see?"
Kuroo turned his head to the side to to see her head shaking from side to side under the blankets. "Are you still feeling sick?"
"I feel like shit..." (y/n) muttered, lifting her head from the covers to get some more air as she inhaled deeply, her face flushed from her fever. "I don't think I can do anything... let alone go to the game..."
Kuroo lifted his hand to place it on top of her forehead to feel her temperature. "I think it went down a little. Here." He turned to the small nightstand to get a cup of water before handing it over to the (h/c) haired girl, "Here have some water, it'll cool you down."
"thanks.." (y/n) mumbled, sitting up with the help of Kuroo who put his hand on her back to steady her as (Y/n) took the cup of water from his hands, lifting it up to her lips to take a few gulps. A few drops of water slipping from the corners of her lips down her neck.
She released her lips from the edge of the cup and handing it back to the bed haired captain who sat down by her side. Kuroo took the cup and set it down on the table as (y/n) leaned back against the wall to balance her weight. He brought up his knees to his chest and leaned his head against his hand. "You shouldn't overwork yourself too much. I heard you got sick from staying up too late."
(y/n) grunted in response, "What are you my mom?"
"No I'd rather be your boyfriend," He teased smirking down at her, "but seriously we can't have you being sick at the training camp." Kuroo responded, his chin resting on his palm. "You're already good enough." He mumbled to himself.
(y/n) lifted a brow, looking at him, "Enough?"
Kuroo nodded, "Enough. You know I was talking to that play boy setter from Seijoh, and you give out pretty good advice." He pointed a finger in the air, looking at her dull (e/c) colored eyes, "And I'm not going to lie, I was really moved by what you told him, although you should consider taking your own advice."
(y/n) grunted in response, "That advice doesn't do anything for me."
"But it should." Kuroo leaned in a bit closer, "You're more than enough, not just for your team but for you as well. "
(Y/n) leaned back a little, covering the bottom of her mouth with the back of her hand, slightly glaring at the captain in front of her, "Move you're gonna catch my fever."
