Chapter 19
"It's actually a good day, huh?" Vic said once we were parked. The weather really was nice though. It wasn't too hot to get sunburned, but you could still feel some heat.
We unloaded Vic's car with our things and made our way through the beach. There weren't a lot of people around so we were pretty much alone, which I didn't really mind. We set up two chairs and put a towel on the ground, then we set up this humongous umbrella Vic had brought. Maybe it was unnecessary, but I guess I should be grateful for the shade. Lastly we put the cooler in the middle that was filled with all kinds of junk. Vic really was spoiling me for this date.
After everything was set up, we walked a bit out to see the waves crashing down. The sound it made was so peaceful that it almost felt like you were dreaming. And don't even get me started on how the sand felt in between my toes. It was the type of sensation that nearly all humans on this planet enjoy.
"It's beautiful," I said crossing my arms.
"Not as beautiful as you, but it's still pretty." Vic said seriously, making me chuckle at his corniness.
I was still staring at the magnificent view when I noticed that Vic was taking his shirt off. He had taken off his shirt but left his shorts on. I'm glad Vic is a guy that wouldn't wear a speedo because than this would be a different story. But I say it again, Vic is a fucking S.E.X God.
He might be skinny, but it didn't mean he wasn't sexy. His biceps had my knees feeling weak as fuck. And ugh, his freaking back muscles! Why did he have to be so goddamn attractive?
"Okay, I get it, I have a hot bod." He snickered at me but I played it as I wasn't staring. "But don't worry, I look at you all the time too. I'm just more sneaky." He said sending me a quick wink.
That fucking bastard and his sexiness. God why do you always do this?!
After my little embarrassing moment, I took the opportunity to take off my shirt when he wasn't looking. When I stood beside him, it made me feel 10 times more self conscious. I'm just this set of pale skin and walking bones.
I crossed my arms over my chest to hide as much of my body but even that didn't stop his wandering eyes.
"Stop staring and let's get in the water!" I said on the verge of getting annoyed.
"Aw Kells, stop being so shy!" He said and grabbed me just as I started to walk away. He wrapped his arms around my body and kissed my cheek. "Who says I don't like what I see? Hmm?"
His words made me uncontrollably blush and I felt my skin get hot. I could feel his lips right by ear and I swear if he kept this up, I would die.
"Alright, alright, but can we get in the water now?" I changed the topic.
"Um, yeah." Vic said but was quick to pick me up and carry me to the water. He literally ran into the water with ease while I flailed my arms around crazily. Water sprinkle on my dry body making me flinch.
"Put me down!" I shouted and hit his back playfully. Even with my pleas, he still walked into the water even deeper. Once the water was up by most of his back, that's when I started to freak out. "Okay Vic, please! Please put me down!"
"If I put you down, you owe me a kiss."
"Okay, fine!" I said and before I knew I was thrown inside the water. Now, Vic is lucky since he walked inside the water which let his body get slowly used to it. Whereas I was the complete opposite.
"Oh fuck, it's cold!" I said once the water hit my bare chest.
"If you go all the way in, it'll feel better." He said and did just that. I guess he was right so I soon dived inside the water too. He proved me right because the feeling of the cold water on my body disappeared and became more refreshing.
