Chapter fourteen-oh shit

When I woke up there were two people looking at me with angry looks on there faces, one was a male and the other was a female, I was too tired to tell what they looked liked but they look around in there early forty's or in there late thirty's. I rubbed my eyes and say up, I was too tired to really comprehend what was going on. Oh shit, its Danny's parents. I quickly stood up and looked at them, they were still looking at me, "who the hell are you!?" His dad said angrily, "um, I, my name is, uh, I'm Kiersten" I stuttered nervously, "what are you doing in my house?!" He immediately replied. My palms started to sweat and my hands and legs started to shake "um i, I'm one of Danny and Paul's friends, i,they invited me here for the, uh, weekend" I was so nervous I couldn't even speak properly. How have Danny and Paul not woken up yet. "what were you guys doing while we were gone?!" He continued to question me, "I, um, we just hung out sir, video games, we, uh,went to the beach yesterday, um, we made some brownies" I said trying not to cry, yes I know blah blah blah cry baby blah blah blah but that's not the case I just don't do very well in these types of situations. "what kind of brownies??" He asked, "just regular chocolate brownies, there's still some left on the table." I answered, he just continued to stare at me, "oh come on darling be nice to the poor thing" Danny's mom said to her husband, "get out of my house" was all he said then he walked away leaving me with Danny's mom, seriously how in the world are Danny and Paul STILL sleeping. I leaned over and picked up my bag, "would you like a ride?" She asked me, "oh, uh, no thank you" I replied awkwardly sorta smiling, she smiled back and nodded her head then I walked out the door and took a deep breath and started to walk back home. "holy shit I'm so glad that's over, I thought I was gonna get killed or something obviously that's an over reaction but damn" I whispered to myself. When I got home the door was thankfully unlocked so I just walked in and headed up to my room. I threw my bag on the floor and plopped down on my completely unmade bed and tried to get some sleep for at least a few more minutes before my mom has to get up for work.
