When I wake up, Hunter is sitting at the table with his laptop open. He has a pen behind his ear, his eyes focused on the screen and he looks incredibly sexy doing whatever it is that he is doing.
"Hi, handsome, how long have you been awake?" I ask him, sitting up and smoothing my crazy hair.
He turns around and smiles at me. "About forty-five minutes or so. I didn't want to wake you. I ran down to my room and got my laptop. The only way my boss would agree to give me this week off is if I did some work remotely. I shouldn't be much longer."
"Take your time," I tell him as I slide out of bed.
I walk over and wrap my arms around his shoulders, kissing the top of his head. He rubs his strong hands over my arms and gives them a loving squeeze. The work on his screen looks entirely foreign to me, but my work would probably look the same to him. I love seeing him in his element. I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth. It's already six thirty and I can't believe I slept as long as I did. I'm starting to get hungry again, but I will keep myself busy until he finishes his work. I walk back out to the bedroom and grab some clothes.
"What do you think you are doing?" he asks me. I hadn't realized that he was watching me.
"I was getting dressed so we could get something to eat. I'm hungry again."
"I love your appetite...for food and for me," he smirks.
"Do you want to go eat with the guys?"
"That's totally up to you, gorgeous," he responds as he clicks away at his keyboard.
"I guess we can. I'm going to get ready while you finish working. Call the guys and let them know."
"Yes ma'am!" he tells me, giving me a salute and I laugh. If this is how everyday life with him will be, I am looking forward to an incredible future. I hear him call the guys from the other room and when he hangs up, he yells at me that I have twenty minutes to get ready.

When we arrive at the restaurant, the guys are already seated at the bar. The place is full and louder than a packed stadium during the playoffs. The Broncos and the Cowboys are playing on TV and the guys have their eyes glued to it, talking end zone dances and two-point conversions.
"Damn, they do come up for air!" Justin yells as we walk up.
I smack him on the back of the head, but eventually soften the blow with a hug. I'm embraced individually by each of the guys, warm regards and smartass comments included. I don't know what I signed myself up for when I agreed to come out tonight, but it is really good to see them.
We order our food and I sit at the end of the bar, Hunter on one side and two young guys caddy-cornered from me. When I slid on the barstool, their eyes raked up and down my chest, whispering to each other and nodding at me. I hear the stalky guy comment, "I'd fuck her all night long," but I ignore them and turn my attention to the sports debate taking place amongst my favorite guys.
"Dude, I'm not saying Aaron Rodgers isn't a good quarterback. I'm just saying that he's not as good as Peyton Manning," I hear Justin debating with Bryson. "It's just a well-known fact."
Bryson counters back, "I hear what you're saying, but Rodgers also replaced a legend. He's got a stronger arm and takes better care of the ball. Not to mention, he is also a much better playoff player."
"You are out of your mind," Justin says, shaking his head.
I love football and Peyton Manning so I decide to get in on the action. "Bryson, I have to agree with Justin on this one. Manning has a better pass completion percentage, fewer times sacked with less yards lost due to sacks, more passing yards and let's not forget...more Superbowl wins. His stats speak for themselves." I shrug and take a sip of my wine.
