A four-hour nap is just what I needed to put me in a better mood. Already anxious about flying, the obnoxious man next to us surely didn't help matters. Hunter was so angry at the man's blatant disregard for everyone's safety and his disrespect of the flight attendants. I'm so proud of him for standing up for the crew, me and all the passengers aboard the plane. It is just another reminder of what a standup guy he is, as if a reminder were necessary. Hunter is still asleep when the pilot's voice speaks overhead, indicating that we will be landing soon. I run my hand over his cheek and kiss his forehead. He rolls on his side, facing me and his hand immediately moves to my breast. He must be having one hell of a dream and I better wake him before anyone sees. I remove his hand and give his arm a gentle shake.

"Huh, what?" he asks, startled as his eyes pop open. His voice is raspy and his eyes sleepy. "Is everything ok?"

I giggle and caress his cheek again. "Yes, everything is fine except the accidental breast groping you just gave me and the fact that you've been snoring for three straight hours."

"Shit! Did I actually do that?" he responds with flushed cheeks.

"Well, the groping...yes, but the snoring...no. I was just messing with you on that."

"I'll do more than grope you when we get home," he responds with a wicked grin on his face.

"Home. I love the sound of that," I tell him. "Is your truck at the airport or do we need to call an Uber?"

"No, my truck is there. I figure we can go to my...our house first, drop off the luggage and then head to your place so you can get what you need for the night. I assume you want to get everything ready for Helen."

"I do!" I squeal. "I can't wait to surprise her. She is going to love having her own space again, I'm sure. There is so much we need to do this week. Did you call your boss and request a few more days off?"

"Yeah, he said it wasn't a big deal. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to take off another week."

When we finally land, it seems like forever before we can unload the aircraft. I know that I am just impatient and ready to get started on our new life together. So much has happened in just a week's time. We are finally given permission to exit the plane and we practically run through the airport. We grab our suitcases from the baggage claim and head out to the parking garage to find Hunter's truck.

"So, don't judge me on the mess in my truck," he says with a cautious tone. "Cleaning it out wasn't high on my priority list this past year. I promise I will take care of that soon."

"Geez, you act like there's a rat infestation in there or something," I joke. "I won't judge you on your dirty truck, but there better not be piss all over the toilet seats at the house."

"Maybe you should wait outside for a couple minutes when we get there," he laughs.

I haven't lived with a man since my dad so this is certainly going to be an adjustment. Hell, I haven't lived with anyone in a while. I enjoy having my own space to retreat to so the thought of someone always being there makes me a little nervous.

What if I start to get on his nerves by always being there? What if my constant need to keep things tidy is more than he can handle? What if he is a slob and I'm constantly having to pick up behind him? My stomach is dancing with butterflies at the questions and uncertainties.

"You're not a slob, are you?" I blurt out, obviously not considering how offensive that may be.

He just laughs at me. "Is that what you're thinking about since I told you my truck was messy?"
