Jenna tried to put up a good fight, but I knew that she would easily reconsider the minute I ran my hands up her creamy thighs. I turn into a teenage hornball every time I even think of the woman. The struggle will be when I go back to work and can't have her any time I want to. It's not like I am taking advantage of her or making her do anything that she doesn't want to do. She wants it just as much as I do. Seeing her in that black strapless dress isn't making things easy. I've never seen anything more beautiful and enticing in all my life.

I still can't believe that she chose me.

I can't believe this goddess is going to be my wife.

Everyone is already out in the lobby when we finally arrive. Women are decked out in fancy dresses, but they all look like hags compared to Jenna. Every man stops and stares as she walks by, but she doesn't notice. Her eyes never leave mine, looking at me like I'm the only man in the world. I don't understand it, but I'll take it. She grabs my hand as we walk up to the fireplace to meet everyone. Helen is whispering something to Patrick that makes him smile. I practically had a coronary when Jenna told me about him in her room. I'm going to have to talk to Patrick and find out what the deal is there. He better not be boinking my guest.

And wow, Helen looks different. Jenna went all out on the hair and makeup, but that girl could definitely stand to eat a cheeseburger or five. Jenna's not too keen on other woman for reasons I will never understand, but she and Helen have really hit it off. She can hold her own with all the guys, but I like that she has another female to discuss things with that don't include wet dreams, alphabet burping and records for the longest turds. Men are gross and I'm not even trying to exclude myself from that. Piper and Rich smile at us as we walk up, hand-in-hand.

"JB, you look stunning," Rich says. "Hunter, you clean up nicely, too."

"Thank you, sir," I tell him, tipping my imaginary hat. "Not too bad yourself. Piper, you look lovely."

A lodge employee gets everyone's attention to inform us that we can enter the party room now. We all take our place in line and eventually make our way in. It is decorated similarly to how it was last year, but the dance floor is bigger this time. We take our seats and the employees fill our glasses with champagne. Jenna is describing the events of last year to her parents in extravagant detail. I sit back and watch how excited she gets about gold ornaments and sparkly garland. I could watch her talk all day long if it didn't make me look like a total creeper.

I hadn't really noticed before, but Jenna resembles her mom in so many ways. They have the same eye shape and full lips. Their hair color is comparable, except Jenna has some gold highlights in hers. Jenna is curvier than her mother, but damn if her curves don't do dirty things to my insides. Mmmmm. Piper is a beautiful lady and it's like a glimpse into what Jenna will look like when she gets older. As the two of them chat about Christmas trees and white dishes, I look over at Rich and see him staring at Piper the same way I look at Jenna. In this day and age, you rarely see couples still married and as in love as Piper and Rich are. They really are the perfect role models for how a marriage should look and I hope to learn from them over the years.

"Hunter, what do you think?" Piper asks me, pulling me from my thoughts.

"I'm sorry, I sort of zoned out. What was the question?"

Piper giggles and responds, "We were just talking about New Year's Eve. We thought it would be nice to have everyone come to our house to bring in the New Year. Your brothers could bring their girlfriends if they want."

"I think that sounds great," I tell her. I can't think of a better way to bring in the New Year than with the love of my life and my future in-laws, who I have come to love. "Bryson is the only one with a girlfriend, but I'm sure they would love to come."
