It was a long day at work and you were driving home. Your boyfriend of 5 years Antonio Dawson was on night shift. He was covering a shift of one of the blue shirts. You are an OBGYN doctor at Chicago med and recently suffered the loss of one of the babies. Your head is all over the place but Antonio has made it easier. It's your 5 year anniversary and your hoping Antonio had planned something but obviously work is top priority. Your driving along a deserted road when you hear sirens
"Sh!t!" You say to yourself as you pull over
You hurry and find you licence out of your glove compartment. You look up to your window and see Antonio standing
"Really?" You say as you roll down the window
"Licence and registration please ma'am" Antonio says as you laugh
"What are you doing?" You say not convinced
"Licence and registration please ma'am!" Antonio says raising his voice
"Come on babe! It's me!" You say as Antonio sighs
"Get out of the car Miss" Antonio says as you get out of the car
"Am I permitted to do a search?" Antonio asks
"Well you've seen me naked! So I guess that's fine!" You reply slightly annoyed
Antonio starts to pat you down
"Don't check me out too much" You say as Antonio tries not to laugh
He then starts to walk around your car when you see tons of flashing lights in the distance. They then park in front of you and you spot the intelligence unit
"What the hell is going on" You mutter to yourself
You then look around to find Antonio but he's no where to be seen. All of the cops have gotten out of their cars and are standing in a line. But have left their lights on. You then walk closer to see Antonio standing in front of them all
"Y/N, these past 5 years have been the best years of my life. We have been through so much together and I can't thank you enough for that." Antonio says as he smiles
"What are you doing?" You ask as you glance around at the cops staring at you
"So that's why" Antonio says as he gets down on one knee
"Y/N will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Antonio asks holding up the ring
"Of course I will!" You reply as he slips the ring onto your finger and gives you the kiss of a lifetime
Everyone starts to cheer and you admire the Dimond on your finger.
