Comfort - Chicago Med - Ethan Choi

You are sitting in your apartment waiting for your best friend since birth to pick you up. Ethan Choi. You have spent the night getting ready for an event at your work. You are an ER doctor at Chicago med and you work alongside Ethan and his girlfriend of 2 years April Sexton. You hear his horn beep and you run out clutching your purse in one hand, keys in the other.

"Come on! We're gonna be late!" Ethan says as he taps the side of his car door

"Okay! I'm coming!" Your reply as you get into the back of the car

Ethan starts to drive and you get a sense that something is wrong. Music is usually flowing in the car and April and Ethan won't shut up

"So what's up?" You ask as April turns around

"Nothing!" April says looking at Ethan

You accept that and move on. 10 minutes later you arrive at med. The 3 of you walk out with a giant space between Ethan and April.

"Y/N!" Maggie says with her arms wide open

"Maggie! I didn't know you were coming to this thing!" You say as you give Maggie a hug

"How could I miss Mr. Stilettos party?" Maggie replies as she laughs

"He does know that this is a hospital and not a strip club right?" You answer as you both laugh

You and Maggie are drawn away by the sound of arguing. You know right away who it is and rush over to the commotion

"You kissed him?!" Ethan shouts at the top of his lungs

"I didn't mean to! You were away Ethan!" April says with her voice a tad calmer

"Where is that son of a bitch!?" Ethan shouts as he starts to race towards Crockett

"Y/N?" April says looking vulnerable

"I'll get him" you reply as you follow Ethan

You then follow Ethan until he comes to an abrupt stop. Which happens to be in front of Crockett. Ethan looks him up and down and you place a comforting hand on his shoulder. He shoves your hand away and you step back

"You just couldn't help yourself could you?!!" Ethan shouts before punching Crockett straight in the face causing his nose to bleed

"Ethan!" You shout as you pull him away from Crockett

You lead Ethan away shooting Crockett a look. The night then goes on and you find Ethan on the roof.

"Thought we both might need this?" You say as you hold up a full bottle of vodka

"I'm sorry Y/N I don't know what came over me" Ethan replies as he takes a swig of vodka

"Hey I get it! You were annoyed" You answer as you take a swig of the vodka

As the night goes on the vodka starts to disappear. Before you both know it you have drank the full bottle of vodka. Ethan turns to you and you look him in the eyes

"Y/N" He mutters

Before you know it Ethans lips are on yours. You wrap your hand around his neck and he pulls you close. However you know what your doing is wrong so you pull away

"I better get going" You say as you grab your purse

"Y/N I'm sorry" Ethan says as he rubs the back of his head nervously

"Hey it's okay! It takes 2 people to kiss!" You reply as you take out your phone

"Here let me get you an Uber" Ethan says as he gets his phone out too

"I got it! See Uber!" You answer as you show him your phone before walking out
