"Jessica Parker, Was taken from her bedroom 3 nights ago. We have a link connecting, James Robertson to her. They seemed to have dated in the past however it didn't end well" Adam said as he stuck up a picture of Jessica

"We pulled her cell and found texts between her and Robertson. He threatened to kill her 2 days ago" Kevin added

"So are we going to roll out?" I asked

"Why would we roll out? The patrol officers would have searched the scene?" Erin added

"Maybe they missed something? It's possible?" I argued

"Are you suggesting that parol officers aren't as good as us?" Erin said, coldly

"Not at all. All I'm saying is that there is a 6 year old out there who's mom is missing. It's our job to bring her back home!" I yelled

"Oh please, you don't care. All you care about is the bonus your going to get off of this" Erin spat

"Ladies!" Adam laughed

"It always helps" I said before getting up and walking out

I sat down in the locker room and heard someone at the door

"You alright?" Adam asked

"Perfect, why?" I smiled

"Just the way you left there, Voight wants you and Halstead to roll out" Adam explained

"Copy that" I smiled as I got up

Me and Jay rolled out but didn't discover anything, the day flew in. The clock hit 4pm and I grabbed my bag

"Hey Sarg?" I asked as I ducked my head in

"What's up?" Voight asked as he looked up

"Is it alright if I duck out early? Something came up" I explained

"Go for it" Voight smiled as I gave him a quick nod before walking out

"Why are you so easy on her?" Erin asked as she sat down

"She had things she needed to take care off, we all have too sometimes" Voight explained

"But it's almost everyday she ducks out at like 4, that's not normal if you ask me" Erin sighed

"Lindsay, keep your nose out of it" Voight said as Lindsay put her hands up

7pm rolls around and Erin is about to head home

"Lindsay!" Voight yelled as she turned around

"Yeah Sarg?" She asked

"Y/N? She left this, she lives 2 blocks from you. Do me a favour and drop it off" Voight said as he handed her the file

"Uhm...Sure" Erin hesitated

Erin then arrived at your house an hour later. She walked up to the door and knocked. To her surprise a little girl appeared

"Uhm hello, I'm Erin. Is Y/N home?" Erin asked, slightly confused

"Your very pretty" The little girl smiled

"Thank you" Erin smiled

"Huh! Is that a gun?! Cool!!" The little girl added

"I don't think you should be looking at that" Erin laughed as she covered her gun

"I wanna be a cop! So I can catch all the bad guys!" The little girl said as she struck a superhero pose

"Nat? Honey? Who's at the door?" I said as I appeared next to my daughter

"Hi" Erin said

"Is she bothering you? Nat! What did I say about answering the door?" I said as she looked at Nat

"Whoops! Busted!" Nat laughed

"Go and play with your toys" I laughed

"Okay mom! Bye Erin!!" Nat yelled as she ran

"Mom?" Erin asked

"Summer filled with romance lead to the best thing in my life" I smiled

"And Nat?" Erin asked

"Natasha. Let's just say I had a bit of a thing for black widow when I had her" I laughed

"Who didn't have a thing for her" Erin smiled

"Uhm Voight told me to drop this off. You left in a rush" Erin said as she held up the file

"Babysitter cancelled" I explained as I went to take the file

Mine and Erins hands brushed against each other's as I took the file. We both froze until Erin finally spoke

"How old is she?" Erin asked, snapping out of it

"6" I explained

"That's why-" Erin said

"Yeah, I just couldn't bare seeing that little girl without her mom" I explained as Nat came running in

"Can Erin stay for dinner?!" She yelled

"Oh I don't think Erin would want to" I smiled

"Please! Please Miss Erin!!" Nat begged

"Uhm...If your mom says it's okay then sure" Erin smiled

"Please mom!!" Nat yelled

"Okay fine, but you've got to be on your best behaviour pumpkin" I smiled

"Yay! Come on miss Erin! Let's go colour!" Nat said as she took Erins hand

"Nat! What did I say!" I yelled as I closed the door

A few hours later we had finished up with dinner. I walked down the stairs with bags in my hands

"Who's ready for a sleepover with grandpa?!" I smiled

"Me!!" Nat said enthusiastically

"Good, grab your shoes" I smiled

I then guided Nat towards the door where my dad was waiting. I got down to Nat's level

"You be a good girl for grandpa okay?" I smiled, fixing her jacket

"When can I come home?" Nat asked

"As soon as mommy's finished with work" I smiled

"Okay" Nat sighed

"Remember how much I love you okay?" I smiled

"I know, I love you Mom!" Nat said as she gave me a hug

"I love you to the moon and back Natasha, have fun!" I smiled as I watched her get in the car

I walked into the kitchen to see Erin

"We're doing that undercover gig tomorrow, it might be my last time seeing her" I said

"Your really great with her" Erin said

"I have to be. You can go home now, Nat really enjoyed having someone other than me tonight" I smiled

"What happened to her dad?" Erin asked

"High school sweetheart, didn't work out. Left when I was 30 weeks pregnant. 6 years down the line, I've never dated. I don't want to introduce her to someone who isn't going to stay" I smiled

"I don't mean to be..cold with you? You remind me a lot of me. If that makes any sense" Erin explained as she shook her head

"...when you came to the district. I had broken up with Jay and he had left for a while. I needed someone to take it out on. You were there and I took advantage of that. But as the years went on, I found myself...falling for you. I get it - You know I was so horrible to you" Erin explained

"Oh please I knew you had a thing for me. You could tell as soon as I walked into a room" I laughed

Erin went bright red

"I'm kidding! Your far too cute" I smiled as I walked over to her.

"I bet you say that to everyone" Erin smiled

"Hmm...Maybe" I laughed as I kissed her...
