Im so Sorry - Kelly Severide - Chicago Fire + PD

"Baby! Have you seen my badge!?" I yelled, looking frantically for my badge

"I think I seen it on the kitchen counter!" Kelly yelled as I ran over

"Got it! That's why I married you!" I yelled back, placing my badge on my belt

I had been married to Kelly for 4 years now but we have been together for 6. I was 21 when I met him and we got married when I was 23. We had been trying for a baby for years now but nothing seemed to be working however we weren't going to give up that easily.

"Have a good day" Kelly said before planting a kiss on my forehead

"I will, and I'll try not to get shot this time" I said before I let out a laugh

I had been a detective for 7 years now, it was the right job for me and that's where I met Kelly. I was working an arson case with him and instantly fell in love with him. I then arrived at work and was greeted by Jay

"Hey!" Jay said smiling

"Morning" I said before I sat down next to him

"How's the big man?" Jay asked as I made that face at him

"Quit calling him that will you" I said as I playfully hit his shoulder

"Okay! We have a homicide case to work today" Voight said as he walked out his office

"Drake De Leon, stabbed his wife Rosalyn to death, at the early hours of this morning" Ruzek said as he pinned a picture up onto the board

"They let him out?" I muttered as Voight turned to me

"You know him?" He asked

"Yeah I put him away a few years ago for a DUI which ended up killing 2 people" I explained

"That might be a problem Sarg" Hailey said as she walked in

"What is it?" Voight asked

"Well De Leon stated that he was going after everyone who made his life a living hell, and look who's name came up in his texts that we pulled" Hailey said before placing a picture on the board

"That's my name, isn't it?" I asked

"Yep, Drake said and I quote "I hope the bitch burns in hell and if she doesn't I'm going to make that happen" Hailey said as I felt my heart sink

"Well that's a lovely thing to hear at 9am" I said as I laughed

"You know you can't work the case right?" Voight said as i grabbed my bag

"Yep, I'll see you all tomorrow" I added before walking out

When I got home I decided to go on a walk, considering there was nothing else to do. I then spotted this man out of the corner of my eye but chose to ignore him. He got closes to me and before I knew it everything went black. I then woke up in an abandoned building

"Nice of you to join us" Drake yelled

"Drake, nice to see you again" I said as I wiped the blood from my dripping nose

"There's more where that came from" Drake yelled as I scoffed

"They're going to find me! And your going away for life this time!" I yelled

*Kelly's POV*

I walked into the district to discover Voight

"I want every patrol in the city looking for her!" He yelled

"What the hell is going on?" I asked as he lead me into his office

"Y/N has been taken" Voight admitted

"Like kidnapped?! How the hell did you let that one happen?!" Kelly yelled

"It was an ex con that she put away a few years back, we know his usual spots, we're going to get her back" Voight said

"You better!" I yelled

Days went by and nothing was discovered, until a week later I was laying in my bed when i got a call from Voight

"Voight!" I said as I answered the phone

"We found Y/N, she's not in great shape, you need to get down here" Voight said

I got ready as quickly as I could, I drove down to the hospital to see Casey waiting for me. I had called him as I needed someone there with me. Dr.Manning called me in

"Kelly, did you know she was pregnant?" She asked

"No I didn't! How far along is she?!" I asked

"She was 8 weeks, she lost the baby Kelly" Natalie adds as I felt my heart sink

"I'm going to kill him!" I yelled before running out

I walked up to Voight with anger in my eyes

"She was pregnant!" I yelled in his face

"What?" He asked innocently

"They killed our baby! Do you know how long we've been trying for! And yet you left her alone without a patrol supervision!" I yelled

"I'm so sorry for your loss Kelly, I really am" Voight added

"No your not! You couldn't care less! They abused her! So much that she lost her baby! How do you think she's going to feel when she wakes up?!" I yelled as I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Let's take a break" Maggie said softly

"Fuck you voight!" I yelled as Maggie dragged me away

"You can go in and see her" Maggie said softly as I walked in

"I'm sorry" Y/N said weakly

"What are you talking about!" I said as I rushed to her side

"They told me about the baby Kelly! I'm so sorry I couldn't give you a baby!" Y/N yelled, as she sobbed

"Hey it's okay! We can try again! We're not giving up remember!" I reassured her

"What if we can't try again! What if this was our only chance!" Y/N shouted as she held her belly

"It's not going to be okay! We're going to have 3 beautiful kids and we're going to take them up to benny's cabin and watch them play in the snow!" I said as I held her hand

"I'm so sorry" Y/N sobbed

"It okay, I've got you" I said as I held her
