Behind the Scenes - Chicago Fire - Part 5

"Okay maybe we hooked up! Once or twice" You explain

"No it was definitely twice" Taylor adds as he laughs

"Shut up!" You add as you hit him playfully

"Okay places people! I need Y/N and Monica!" The director yells

You and Monica then get into your places. Your filming and everyday scene, with you two going to get coffee

"And...Action!" The director yells

"You can't date your Luitenent can you?" Gabby asks as she grabs her coffee

"Come on! It's not that bad!" Alison explains

"Uhm yes it is gurl!" Gabby adds as a man bursts into the shop with a gun

"Get your hands where I can see them!" The man yells

"Or what?" Alison asks stepping towards him

"I'll shoot you! And then what are you gonna do princess?" The man yells

"I don't know what I'm going to do, what's the line again?" You ask as everyone laughs

After many, many takes you get it

"Yes girl! You did that!" Jesse shouts

"Woooo!" Monica yells

"Thank you all! Thank you!" You reply as you curtsy and laugh

"Okay! Taylor and Y/N! Your shooting a fire scene!" The director orders as you all walk out to the building

What a lot of people don't know, is that the fire scenes are actually real fires. Your still adjusting to them but your getting through it

"I hate these scenes" You add as you gear up

"Nothing bad is going to happen I promise" Taylor adds as he smiles

*Y/N's POV*

God I wish he was right. I stepped into the fire and we started to shoot the scene. I then spotted Taylor clutching his chest

"Taylor?" I muttered as he looked at me

"I-I can't breath" Taylor adds as he clutches his chest

"I need a medic in here!" I yelled as I ran over to him

Taylor then fell to the ground and I caught him in my arms. I cradled him until the medics came in. I then stepped back and watched every move that they made. They then took him to the hospital and I followed them. I was sat in the waiting room when Jesse and Monica joined me

"Y/N! What happened?!" Jesse asks as he sits next to me

"He - He clutched his chest and just fell" I explained

"He's gonna pull through" Monica adds as she strokes my arm

An hour later a doctor walks out and I rush over to him

"I'm so sorry Miss Y/L/N" The doctor says as he looks to the ground

"What?! No! Don't say what I think your going to say!" I said in tears

"His blood pressure was through the roof resulting in his heart shutting down, we did everything we could. Taylor passed away 10 minutes ago" The doctor explains as I fall to the floor in tears

"No! He's not dead! He's alive!" I yell as I feel jesses arms wrap around me

"He's gone Y/N" Jesse says through the pain

It's a week later and it's a day after Taylor's funeral. Your sitting at home and your phone is blowing up as it's just been released to the press. You open your phone and you read some of the headlines

"Chicago Fire actor, Taylor Kinney tragically died at the age of 29" A headline reads

"Chicago fire actor dies of a heart attack" Another one reads

You then shut off your phone and head towards the shower. You feel the hot water hit your skin and you stare at the wall.

*Y/N's POV*
I stared at the wall blankly. I had been doing this a lot more frequently during the past week. It felt like an escape from reality, an escape from the press, from Monica and Jesse. I stepped out of the shower and turned off the water. I changed into some comfy clothes and left to do my weekly grocery run. Of course the press were there, they were everywhere.

"Y/N! How are you dealing with his death?" A man asks holding a microphone up to your face

"His name was Taylor" I snapped

"Have you found a replacement for him yet?!" Another man yells

"He died a week ago! And he got buried yesterday! So no we haven't!" I yelled

"So you were there at his death?" A woman yells

"Yes! I was! No can you leave me alone for an hour whilst I get my god damn grocery's?!" I yelled as I walked faster
