Chapter 7 - Awards
It's a few months later and we only have a week of filming left, the first show of season 6 has aired and tonight is the NBC awards. I slipped on a black dress and curled my hair. I then got into my car and we arrived a short time later
"Hey you" Jesse said as he gave me a hug
"Hi!" I smiled
"So how many awards have we been nominated for?" Monica asked
"For the show or individually?" Joe asked
"Both" Monica laughed as she took a sip of her wine
"Well fire has been nominated for 3 I think however Y/N has been nominated for 6 awards" Joe explained
"Way to go girl!" Monica said as she smiled
"It's not that big of a deal" I laughed
"It is! Taylor would be proud" Monica smiled
We then all took our seats and Christian was up on stage presenting the first award
"Let's look at the nominees for most heartfelt performance" He said as a video started playing
"Jason beghe for his role in Chicago PD after loosing his wife" The video said
The video went on until mine came on
"Y/N Y/L/N for her role in Chicago fire after loosing her boyfriend and Luitenent" The video said as the cast started to cheer
"And the award goes to....Y/N Y/L/N" Christian announces as I stood up
I then made my way up onto the stage and he gave me my award along with a hug
"Well done kid" He said as he walked away
I then walked up to the mic
"I don't know what to say, thank you so much. I couldn't have done it without the support of all the viewers and most of all the cast of Chicago fire. I think we've all became a lot closer after loosing Taylor. He would've been so proud of all of us but again thank you" I said as I started to walk off
I sat down and smiled. After a long night we were on the last award, I had won 3, Monica has won one and so did Jesse. Some lady then came on the stage
"And now for our final award. Best TV show. Our nominees are" She said as the video started to play
"Chicago PD...Chicago Med...Law and Order and Chicago fire" The video played
"And the award goes to...." She said as she opened the envelope
"Chicago fire!" she announced
We all stood up and walked on stage, me, Monica and Jesse stood at the front as we were classed as the "main cast"
"I don't know what to say" Monica laughed
"I think what Monica means is thank you, we couldn't have done it without you all. I think being in Chicago fire is a joy for all of us. From the cast to the producers everyone is just a joy to work with" I said as I smiled at the cast
"Unfortunately we are missing a ver special man tonight, Taylor was the laugh of the cast. He always put a smile on your face weather you wanted it or not" Jesse said as a picture came up on the screen
