Frowning at the female, Jess’ mind was trying to process the face she was seeing with the name she had heard.

“Mum?” She said, before quickly shaking her head. “Shit sorry, no, of course not.”

The girl stood opposite her began to laugh.

“I would say easy mistake to make considering we have the same name, but that would make me like 46 so…”

That caused Jess’ eyes to widen.

“You know my bitch of a mother?” She asked and both Jay and Matt were watching her dumbfounded.

They knew Jess’ mum had been thrown into prison for killing her dad, but that was about it. She never really spoke about it.

“That bitch of a mother happens to be mine too.”

Then all tension began to rise between the group as they watched the two girls in front of them, catching on to the now obvious fact.

“You’re my little sister.” Jasmine half smiled, before pushing her hair from her right shoulder.

They were now looking extremely familiar the more you paid attention to it… the long dark hair, striking features and the unwelcoming personality.

“Not possible.” Jess snapped, her whole aura turning into defence mode. “Stop lying.”

“Of course it is. I left when you were younger. I couldn’t stand to stay in that place.”

Biting down on her lip, Jess didn’t want to hear anymore. She had torn herself away from the people she called family a long time ago. She didn’t need to be dragged back into their mess.

Her mum was a vile human and to be stood in front of someone who shared a name with her, claiming to be her sister, didn’t help the situation at all.

Piercing her eyes she couldn’t ignore the resemblance between the two of them. But she didn’t want to know, she was regretting even coming here now, stupidly wishing she had remained with Jack, the kids, her real family.

“If I were you, I would shut the hell up and stop trying to feed me shit.” She hissed, instinctively pulling her gun out and holding it in aim of the much disliked female.

Jasmine took a few steps back, holding her hands up in the air.

“Look you don’t have to believe me. It’s a little fucked up but isn’t that part of being a Montague?” She questioned. “I was hoping I would finally get to meet you again.”

“Prove it.” Jess bit, not wanting to believe it. “Prove you’re my sister because right now you’re sounding more and more like a scam.”

Taking a moment to pause and think, Jasmine then smiled.

“Okay. I’ll prove it. Just put the gun.” She raised a brow in challenge and Jess reluctantly did it.

“Fine.”

“George, I’ll leave you in good hands from here. I have some catching up to do with my sister.”

With that, she made her way over before suspiciously looking to both Jay and Matt.

“Security? I like it.” A smug smile reached her lips yet Jess wasn’t amused.

“Friends. Gang members. I’m sure you’ve heard of them… Gibson, Russle.” She answered.

“Oh I’ve heard of them alright.” She responded, before she signalled for Jess to follow after her.

You could tell there was serious competition already flying between the two of them. Pure hate for the fact that it was clear just how alike they were.
