"Um... good morning Jay Gibson." Jess laughed as he walked out of a bedroom.
"Morning." He smiled, looking at her expectantly, trying to figure out what her tone was for.
"Tell me you did not." She stood to her feet walking over to him.
"Did not what?"
"Steph!" Jess threw her arms out like it was obvious.
It wasn't every day you would find Jay Gibson walking out one of their rooms unless he had a good reason to.
"No. Fuck no, we didn't." Jay began shaking his head laughing when he caught on where she was going with this.
In return Jess gave him a look to show she didn't believe him one bit.
"I swear." He held his hand to his heart. "We all got really pissed and it was quicker to come back here. I slept in that room for fuck sake, Matt's somewhere about here too."
As Jess was about to continue to tease him, due to just how frustrated she knew he could get, Ellie came running into the living room.
"How much longer? How much longer?" She jumped up and down, excitement due to today being the day they were leaving.
Pausing from her excitement, she turned and looked up at the new presence in the living room.
"Hello Jay." She waved before turning back to Jess.
"How many hours, mummy? Daddy said one hundred million and I think he is being silly."
Chuckling Jess swept Ellie's hair from her face.
"About two. Now go hurry your dad up, he needs to grab suitcases from home."
Ellie did as her mum said, running back into the room where Jack was dealing with a very excited Harvey and a much calmer Mia.
"I do need to speak to you while I'm here actually." Jay began, heading into the kitchen to which Jess followed.
"Yeah, what is it?" She asked as she grabbed some mugs from the cupboard.
Jay then went onto explain everything Jonathon had said last night and how they were now dealing with a pretty bad situation. As he finished, the response from Jess was as expected.
"Shit." She breathed.
"I know. But you need to do what's best for you, as do we all."
Jess nodded, biting her lip.
"You already know my decision don't you?" She asked, considering it was probably crystal clear.
The gang had been her life for as long as she could remember, but like Buddy had once found out, her weakness was love. She had found that now and she also had a family that loved and needed her more than anything. She wasn't going to drop that for the world.
She realised it was time to start pulling herself away from the gang, to begin living a normal life with the man she loved and her three children.
However what she was going to do with herself now, that she wouldn't be part of the gang? She didn't know. She couldn't live off Jack's money forever even if he claimed he didn't mind.
But one thing she did know, was she would do whatever it took to figure something out if it meant she didn't lose her family.
"Yeah and I'm glad you made that one." Jay was sincere.
He and Jess were close and he'd only ever want what was best for her. Right now he knew this was it.
"What about you, Matt and George? What have you decided?" She asked the one question that they had all been trying to avoid.
