Harley's POV
Benny says "mom, can I stay here for the night?" He looks at me cause we didn't talk about this before and I nod then she nods saying "sure" and his dad shrugs and he smiles saying "thanks" and the two other couples leave and mom says "you really like to live life on the edge, guys." Benny says "whats the fun when you aren't?" Mom says "your mom drives me nuts, nothing on you but oh my god, I'm gonna go nuts" and Benny says "try living with her" and Bill says "she acts like she gets major action from Jesus or something." We chuckle and Benny says "are you sure we can't trade?" Mom says "he'd be exorcised if you traded, we'll keep you though" and we laugh and Benny says "I would believe that" nodding and I say "now its time to try and not get an exorcism performed on me or to burn up in flames when I step into a church on Sunday." We chuckle and Benny says "you'd be the talk of the town then" and I grab his hand saying "it's either you or Wendy, don't try me" chuckling. I hear a "oooo, Wendy Peffercorn" from Scotts room and we laugh and mom says "does he have a crush? Should I be worried?" I say "I don't think he does and probably not" and Benny says "no, he's mocking Yeah-yeah making fun of Squints" and I say "oh yeah" and we laugh and he says "oooo, Wendy  Peffercorn" rolling his eyes and we chuckle. I say "lets go, pretty boy, you got a game to win tomorrow" and he says "might make you take my place" and I say "you really want everything about your team and everything to go down the drain like that?" We chuckle and he says "you're good, shut up" and mom says "you don't have a coach?" Benny says "nope!" She says "must be magical to beat a school team" and Benny says "you'll see" and we shut the door to my room and I kiss him slowly and I say "people don't really believe anything about your team do they?" He says "no, it's common, people think I'm crazy for not playing with their team when they're just crazy" and we chuckle. He kisses me saying "I'm so tired for some reason" and I say "it's like eleven" and he starts to pull up on my shirt. He takes my shirt off and I take his shirt off and we kiss for a bit and he bites his lip as I unbutton his jeans, him immediately doing the same to me. I bite my lip and I kiss him then we lay on my bed, my head on his chest and I mumble "I'm sleeping" and he says "ok, goodnight, gorgeous" quietly and runs his fingers through my hair and we both fall asleep.
The next day
When I wake up, he's gone. I get showered, put black jeans, black tee shirt, a chain for my belt loops, combat boots and I grab my leather jacket. When I leave my room I say "what time is it?" Mom says "eleven thirty" and I say "I'll see you at the field" and I go to these guys' field and all the guys and Philips' crew are just staying separated which surprises me. I say "what happened to saying he played like a girl, Ham?" Ham says "were playing in front of our parents, we can't be trashy" and I chuckle saying "boring" and I say "you ready guys?" DeNunez says "kind of nervous" and I say "you can pitch to me if you want till they start?" He says "I'll take a couple, sure" and everyone migrates to outside the dugout and just outside where our parents are and I take Bennys glove from his back waistband and he says "hey." I chuckle and DeNunez gives me a pitch and I say "focus, I want my hand to hurt" and he pitches a couple more times and I say "that one was the best one. I think you're ready" pointing at him and he says "yup, I'm definitely ready" and I hand Benny his glove saying "you ready?" Benny nods and everyone nods and they all take their places, the other team doing the same but having a few guys than us and Philips is first to bat. I hear Ham pull the "is that your sister in the outfield? Naked?" The guy misses it and they strike out the first three guys then they switch and Benny is last to bat, he's probably the weapon they're saving if they're in a pickle. Everyone hits the ball between several innings, Benny is up, bases are loaded and his mom mumbles "the team is actually real." I roll my eyes and the team is yelling for him to get everyone home and he doesn't make people think he's cocky, doesn't have fun with it like the other guys were. He just stands there like his life depends on the hit as he always does and their pitcher pitches a good fastball and Benny hits it outside of the fence so the team can't get it and he gets a grand slam. The parents and people routing for us are just freaking out and I can tell the other team is mad. I chuckle and I go to the dugout saying "you're crushing it, were going to win no matter what unless they can get six points in an inning, which is possible but highly unlikely to happen" since its the last inning and they're batting last. Benny says "lets do it" and everyone in the dugout cheers and I say "go break some eggs" and they go out and the other team is just pissed and they're playing and they get stroked out very quickly and I hear people saying "I wanna meet this team." I smile and they come back to the dugout and I say "were there any bets on me that I didn't know about?" Benny says "he did say he wanted his car back a second ago but other than that no" and I laugh saying "well, he's not getting it back now" chuckling.
