Harley's POV
I say "you're so hot" and Benny mumbles "mmm, I'm sweating" and I roll my eyes saying "not what I meant, stupid" kissing him and he mumbles "morning, gorgeous" and I mumble "morning my love." I peck his lips saying "mmm, wait, why are you still here?" He says "slept in" quietly and I kiss his cheek saying "you ok?" He nods saying "just over tired I guess" quietly and I kiss him saying "ok" and he moves his head to my chest and cuddles into me more and I smile. I mumble "aww, my baby" kissing his forehead and running my fingers over his back slowly with his arms around me. I drag my nails along his back slowly and he smiles, falling back asleep, I don't think he's ok, this is very out of character for him. I rub his back, feeling his forehead mumbling "feels fine" and I roll my eyes at myself. He shifts slightly, straddling me and just hugging himself closer to me then I just rub his back until I fall back asleep.
A few hours later
I mumble "you ok, love?" He looks up at me mumbling "mmm, I think so" and I rub his back saying "you ready to get up my love?" He nods tiredly and I say "shower with me?" He nods and I peck his lips saying "ok, come here, love" and he picks me up. I say "what are you doing?" He mumbles "grabbing my stuff to shower with" and I smile, kissing his temple. We get in the hot shower and I say "what's wrong, love?" He says "nothing" and I say "babe, I've known you for twelve years, I know when you're off when you aren't gone when I wake up." I see a note saying: hey, boys, we went out for the day, we'll be back after dinner, your kids wanna stay with us until Tuesday, so go do whatever it is you do -mom I say "kids are staying here till Tuesday. Do we wanna go home?" He nods saying "I'd like that" checking me out and then kissing me and I say "you aren't getting anything till you tell me what's going on, love" and he says "I know" kissing my cheek. We pack up what little we brought and Benny says "I have to do something" going to his parents house and I follow, standing on the sidewalk and his mom answers saying "what?" Benny says "fuck you, you don't treat my family like that, you can do everything to me but not to them, fuck you, I hope I never hear from you again." That is the first time I've ever heard Benny be straight up angry at someone, he sounds so disgusted and heartbroken and just angry. It just breaks my heart seeing him like this. His mom doesn't even say anything and he says "one more thing" quietly and he gets in to drive and I get in the passenger seat and I let him do his thing. I trust him, what else am I gonna do? He goes to some random house and he goes up and knocks and Philips answers and he says "coming back for more?" Benny says "shut it, I came here to maybe level the playing field and get somethings straight" and Philips says "what's up?" Benny says "we don't have to like each other but we were always very short with each other and I just wanted to say, you aren't that much of a jerk and I'd prefer you to stop hitting on my fiancé." Philips says "finally you made a move, that was my goal all along, coward. Shake on what you just said?" Benny says "wait what?" Philips says "not a great idea at the time but I kept at it and you made a move, brought you closer too, I'd like some credit for this relationship happening." I roll my eyes and Benny says "I don't care anymore, sure" shaking his hand and they nod at each other and Benny walks over to me saying "ready?" I nod saying "yeah, you?" He nods saying "yeah" quietly and I get in the passengers seat and I let him drive and I squeeze his hand saying "I love you" and he says "I love you too" and I rest my head on his shoulder as he drives the interstate. We get home and I say "Benny, love, you're a mess, what's wrong?" There's a knock at the door and Benny says "you" when he opens it and its one of the younger guys on the team, I think his name is Steve. Steve says "did you do it? Do you have my money?" I just shut my mouth not showing myself as I normally would and Benny says "yeah and no, I'm not giving you any damn money" and Steve says "do you wanna be outed?" That's why he's so off, he's being fucking blackmailed. Steve says "alright, fine, guess you are off the hook" shrugging and I mumble "what the fuck?" Benny says "why did you want us to break up again?" Steve says "so I could have him to myself" and he walks away and Benny shuts the door and I say "what the fuck?" Benny says "I'm sorry, gorgeous" and I say "you don't have to be sorry, tell me the whole story" and he sits on the couch and I straddle his thighs and he rests his hands on my hips. I kiss his cheek and he says "well, he came to me Friday morning and said if you don't break up with you and give me twenty thousand in cash by Sunday, he was going to out me. He said I didn't have to do the money thing but I'm sure he'll be back but I'm not giving him money, so I lied, said I broke up with you and that convinced him enough and now he's onto you." I say "I'm not letting him back in the damn house again" and he says "were going to have to" and I say "couldn't you go to the police and get him arrested?" Benny says "I'm homosexual, that's illegal ya know" and Benny kisses me and I say "then we're just gonna have to pull then" and he says" heard he's getting pulled next year. So we won't even have to deal with him." I kiss him and he says "I love you so much" and I say "I love you too so much."
