Harley's POV
I wake up saying "lets go, homie" and Jordan groans saying "shut up" and I say "by the time I'm done showering be ready" grabbing jeans, a cropped muscle tee, one of Bennys oversized shirts that has the sleeves rolled up to his mid upper arm and my worn out converse. I pack a bag quickly and I say "were staying the weekend, pack a bag" and he tiredly nods as he sits up and I go to shower. I get dressed and I say "I need a chain" and I tuck the front of my shirt and I grab a waist chain and I grab my aviators saying "ready?" I grab my combat boots and we leave and he says "its too early for this" and I say "it's ten" and we go to my car that I got from Philips. I start driving and he says "what's with the look?" I say "there's no look here, this is what I always wear" and he says "not for school" and I say "cause I don't give a shit about this people and I have to get up at like six for them" and he says "fair." I say "I look hot though" and he says "that you do" and we chuckle.
A few hours later
We finally get to my house and I say "oh bike, oh how I've missed you" and he says "that's yours?" I say "yeah, bought it myself" and we go into my house and mom says "hey, what's up?!" She hugs me and looks over to Jordan and says "did you and Benny break up? What did you do?" I say "he has practice all weekend, this is my friend" and she chuckles saying "ok, I think I drove Bennys mom out, I think she hates me now" and I say "woohoo!" We laugh and Jordan says "hi, I'm Jordan" and he shakes my mom and she smiles and nods and Cassie and Angela are here and Cassie says "my kid wanted me to tell you that they're all at the sandlot, waiting for you to bring a bat" and I chuckle. I say "I'm going to steal Bennys from his room" and Angela says "good luck with his mom" and I say "I'm gonna need it" chuckling and I go to Bennys house saying "ready?" Jordan says "I guess so" and I knock and his mom answers and she says "hey, kid, what can I do for you?" I say "I need a bat from Bennys room" and she says "you can go get it" smiling and she gets out of our way and we go to Bennys room and I say "surprised you aren't freaking out yet" as I grab a couple shirts from his closet. He says "just a bat?" I say "the shirts I stole from him don't smell like him anymore" and I look through his drawer and I find cologne that I know he uses and I say "score" and we leave without his mom seeing me take his stuff. I go and put them in my house saying "I'll see you guys later" and they nod and keep drinking tea and Jordan and I walk to the sandlot. I say "I'm just waiting for it to hit you, this is basically your idols childhood you're walking in" and he says "I don't think it has hit me yet" and I chuckle. We get to the sandlot and he says "this place is so cool" and I chuckle saying "yeah." Then I say "heard you needed a bat and a ninth person" and Ham says "hey, princess, you're late" and I say "screw off" us chuckling. He fist bumps me saying "we brought the bat out too" and I chuckle saying "had to go through my mans mom like I thought she was gonna rip me apart but she was oddly nice" and we chuckle. Ham says "that's your luck" and I say "I've had good luck, not to jinx it though" and yeah-yeah says "yeah yeah who's this kid?" I say "he's hear to replace you" and he says "yeah yeah, what planet you from?" I say "I'm about to take over yours, homie" getting up to bat and I say "rusty, DeNunez?" He says "you wish, I'd be able to go easy on you" and I say "hit me with your best shot" and Ham says "is that your sister in the outfield naked?" I say "hell yeah, that's my sister in the outfield" and Scott flips me off and DeNunez pitches to me and I hit it to the outfield getting all the bases just before they start doing the picker thing. I say "I'm not replacing my man, don't do picker with me" and we chuckle and Ham says "we can't replace him" and I say "he's special" and Ham says "yeah, in the head" and I say "for sure." I hear a "Ham, I'll hit you with a godamn bat" and I turn to see Benny walking up and I walk up to him saying "liar" and he says "hey, gorgeous" and I I say "hi" and he says "it was a surprise, are you surprised?" I say "yes, very" and he says "then I reached my goal" and I kiss him and he mumbles "I love you" and I mumble "I love you too" and Squints says "lets go, losers! You're gross" and Benny says "oh how I missed you Squints" rolling his eyes and he goes up to bat and DeNunez throws him the ball and Benny says "yeah yeah, coming to you" throwing the ball up and hitting it effortlessly to yeah-yeah. I sit in my normal spot and Jordan sits next to me and I say "close your mouth, you'll catch flies" and Jordan mumbles "this is insane" and Benny chuckles saying "give me a heater, DeNunez" throwing the ball to him. Benny says "were not playing tennis, give me a ninety" and DeNunez says "I've been practicing for the moment I'd be pitching to a pro, here's my heater" and he gives him a fast ball and Benny says "that was good" after he hits it and he runs the bases effortlessly as he does. I smile and they all take turns hitting and Ham points ridiculously like he's the greatest and we laugh our asses off at him. DeNunez says "here's a heater, Ham" and he pitches and Benny catches it saying "woah" and we laugh and Ham says "I thought we weren't playing tennis?" We laugh and DeNunez pitches for him again and he hits it hard into Mr. Mertles backyard and Benny says "I'll get it" shrugging and he jumps the fence and comes back a few minutes later with the ball and Hercules.
