I say "have you met Hams mom yet?" Luke nods and I say "perfect" and we go inside, Angela, Cassie and my mom are all sitting around the table drinking coffee. I say "coffee today, ladies? Needed a change?" Cassie says "tea is a mid afternoon beverage and you drink coffee till then" and I chuckle saying "I can agree with that" and mom hugs me saying "hey" and I pull away saying "hey." She says "how's it going?" I say "it's going, I'm tired, just ready to hang out and not do anything this weekend" and she says "you do stuff during the day?" I say "shut up" chuckling and she says "ooo, what's this ring on your finger?" I say "mom, it's been there for like a month" and she says "well, I'm just seeing it now, didn't think he'd do it" and Benny says "rude" and we chuckle. I say "you really think he wouldn't do something that he wanted to? He only does stuff that he wants to do" chuckling and I say "so if this weirdo sets out to do it, he's probably gonna do it" and we she says "that is very true." Benny says "you see, kids, this is me getting credit for something, you can give me credit sometimes too" and Isa says "no thanks" and we laugh and Benny rolls his eyes, chuckling. He comes up to me and puts his hand on my lower back and says "are they there already?" Cassie says "I think so" and we chuckle and Benny says "let me show you the ropes, kid" to Luke and we all go to the sandlot. Squints says "lets go, loser" and Benny says "told you everyone thinks I'm a loser" and I roll my eyes saying "if you say so, pretty boy" rolling my eyes. Benny says "who's batting?" Ham says "you fool, you're always first" and Benny says "ok, lets go, yeah-yeah, it's coming to you" and DeNunez pitches for him and Benny hits it right into yeah-yeah's glove. They play an inning then Wendy comes in and all the guys go up to her and start flirting cause they have nothing better to do with their lives. Benny pecks my lips then says "base up ya blockheads, she's still gonna be here when you're done" and Wendy sits next to me saying "still got it" and I chuckle. I say "I think you'll always have it" chuckling and she says "how's it going?" I say "good, you?" She says "its going good" and I grab her hand saying "damn, girl, that's a nice rock" and she says "oh, yeah, thank you" smiling and I say "got a new status" and she says "yeah!" I say "were all wifed up now" and we laugh and she says "I don't think that's what that means" and I say "its not, we're wifing them up now" and we chuckle and she says "true true" and we chuckle. She says "gotta go clean house, I'll see you guys later?" I say "yeah, definitely" and she kisses my cheek and jogs off and Benny says "you're batting, kid, show me what you got" pointing at Luke. Luke says "I'm so screwed" as he stands up and I chuckle saying "you'll be fine" and he gets up to bat and Ham says "you're screwed, homie" and DeNunez says "do I have to go easy on this?" Luke says "I haven't decided yet" and we chuckle and DeNunez pitches the ball to him and says "bad ball" and Luke hits it and he says "bad ball? That was alright" running a couple of the bases and Ham says "my favorite thing to do, catch behind the next biggest stars and get arthritis in my knees." We chuckle and Benny says "you'll be catching for multiple generations now" and we chuckle and I say "you're really moving up in the world, Ham" us chuckling. We watch them for hours until it starts to get dark and we walk home and Benny quietly says "what do you wanna do tonight?" I bite my lip, smirking and saying "you wanna go swimming?" He says "we'll really be able to see if were too old to jump fences" and I hold his hand as we walk cause its dark out and no ones out. Benny says "I love you" and I say "I love you too" and we sit on my front step and he says "I'm sorry if it ever seems like I'm being mean to you, I owe you for everything, I've been being a dick." I say "I've been being a dick too, I'm sorry" quietly and he says "I think we need to have like a night to ourselves, lets go swimming then get a hotel room for the night, we can do whatever you want, ok?" I say "I just love spending time with you my love" and he kisses me like its the first time he ever kissed me and I kiss him back, moving closer to him. I rest my hand on his cheek and he smiles against my lips and I press my lips to his softly. I grip the front of his baggy shirt that he wears over a tight tee shirt. I say "take me out, my dear fiancé" against his lips and he bites my lip saying "go pack a backpack, I have to go get something" and I pull away, biting my lip and I say "lets get going, baby" quietly. We go to get ready and about ten minutes later he comes back in and he slaps my ass as he walks by to get his things and I say "you gotta wait, love" and I chuckle when he makes a pouty face at me. I kiss his bottom lip mumbling "get over yourself" smiling and I go to the bathroom to change and he says "where you going?" I say "going to change" and he says "you're mean" and I say "later" and I go to change in the bathroom and I go to talk to my mom. I say "hey, were going out for the night, you don't mind do you?" She says "of course not, you guys need it, go" and I hug her saying "thanks, mom, love you" and she says "love you too."
