Cassie says "you guys still haven't aged, what is your secret?" We laugh and I say "I think we keep each other young" and we chuckle and the kids come in and sit on the other side of the couch, both sitting criss cross. Angela says "they're so cute, are you guys twins?" They both nod at the same time and I say "gotta talk to the old woman across the street" and Angela says "still don't get why we were friends with her, we'll hang out with the kids while you guys do that if you'd like." Benny says "she wants to meet them" leaning back into the couch and Cassie says "don't believe like anything she says, guys" and they nod and Isa says "oh we know, I'm not taking any bullshit" and Cassie says "she's like you, buddy" pointing at me. We chuckle and Angela says "how's life going for you guys?" I say "busy but were doing alright" and Benny says "were doing good" smiling and I say "I'd say so" smiling and biting my lip. Cassie says "ok, now that were done catching up, they're playing ball, they're waiting for you" and Benny says "I will see you all later" and we chuckle and he leaves. Angela says "that man is crazy" and I say "he always has been, you know this, guys" chuckling and I say "I'm gonna go I guess, y'all wanna go?" I look at the kids and they both nod, intrigued. I chuckle saying "ok, lets go" and mom says "going out?" I say "yeah" and she chuckles saying "ok, get out of here" and we walk to the sandlot and I say "this place is literally your dads childhood" and Isa says "so cool" and we go in. I sit in my spot and Ham says "hey, princess" and I say "hey, Ham" smiling and Benny says "you're up to bat, kiddo" and Elijah says "alright" and DeNunez says "do I have to go easy on this kid? He's a second generation legend" and Elijah says "just pitch to me, show me what you got" and DeNunez pitches to him and Elijah says "it's coming to you, uncle Scott" and he hits the ball right to him and runs a couple bases. Benny says "you're up next, Ham" getting up to bat and Ham says "is your fly undone?" Benny says "shut it, Ham" and he almost hits it into Mr. Mertles yard and I say "oh shit" chuckling and Benny says "knew it would go over there" and he runs the bases. Ham says "can I keep your kid, he's cool" and I say "no, he's my favorite, you can have this one though" and Isa says "rude" and we chuckle and I say "you wanna hit?" She says "sure, dude, I'm not running but don't go easy on me" and DeNunez says "you got it, sister" and he pitches to her and she hits it right to the outfield. She sits next to me and I say "I forgot, I gotta talk to Wendy" yawning and Squints says "she's working if you wanna see her" and I say "I might go do that? Wanna go?" Isa says "sure" and I say "we'll be back in a bit" and Ham gets up to bat as we leave and I say "what do you think?" Isa says "they seem fun, a lot easier to hang with than his team and I say "yeah, they're a lot more fun" and we chuckle and she says "The Dodgers are boring, these guys seem like they have fun" and I say "they do. We would do everything with them all summer and all school year" and she says "still not believing dad has friends" and we laugh and I say "that's them" us chuckling. Isa says "guess dad isn't that much of a loser" and I say "most people think their parents are losers, that's what you're supposed to think and as a parent, you're not supposed to care." She says "well, you're not a loser" and we chuckle and we go into Vincents and Wendy says "omg, hey!" I say "hey!" She comes up and hugs me then says "omg, you're so pretty" to Isa and she says "oh stop it, you're very pretty too" and I say "girlfriend, you're aging like wine" and we laugh and Wendy says "thank you. I try" and we chuckle and I say "you're welcome" and she says "what can I get you, sir?" I say "just came in cause Squints told me you wanted to talk to me or whatever? I was supposed to call you this morning but I didn't, I was being a housewife" and she chuckles saying "I missed talking to you, we just got busy, maybe we should go out to lunch or something like tomorrow? I have the day off" and I say "yeah, sure, I'm good with tomorrow" and she says "I'm so excited! Lets do it!" We chuckle and I say "alright, I'll meet you here at noon?" She says "for sure, definitely, I'll see you then?" I say "yeah, cya" smiling and she hugs me again and Isa and I go back to the sandlot and I sit in my spot and Ham says "this ones for you, princess" and I say "alright, show me what you got" chuckling. He hits the ball into Mr. Mertles backyard and he runs the bases as the guys throw their gloves at him like old times and we laugh. I say "who's going to pickle The Beast round two?" Benny says "I got it, I haven't seen Mr. Mertle in a while either" getting up and jumping the tall fence just like he did all those years ago to get the ball signed by The Babe. Elijah says "should we be concerned with dad being good at jumping fences at the age of twenty nine?" I chuckle saying "I don't know, I haven't decided yet" and we chuckle and Benny comes back with Hercules and Hercules prances up to me. I chuckle saying "who's my favorite boy?" I pet the dog and Elijah says "I thought I was your favorite boy?" We laugh and I say "your fathers my favorite, you're my second" rolling my eyes and Benny says "suck it, kid!" We laugh and yeah-yeah says "yeah yeah, I'm batting" and he walks up saying "yeah yeah, what planet are these kids from? Their hits are on steroids" and Benny says "my planet, show me what you got" and yeah-yeah hits the ball somewhat in his direction.
