Harley's POV
I wake up and he's gone and that makes me smile and shake my head and the kids aren't watching tv and eating cereal like five year olds like they do every morning. I say "must've left already" yawning and getting showered and dressed and I go to finish another report on a thing that I heard about that my presenter, Megan, will be ready to talk about. I write everything for her and whatever and she will do it on tv or she'll write some stuff for it too and it'll go to papers and magazines. She's basically my partner in crime. We normally need a few cause people are more compelled by one headline more than others, so were asking around what people like or what we like more and that's what we send out to the people that wanted the story. It's confusing but it makes sense once you start doing it everyday. I do a load of laundry and clean the house just cause I have nothing to do but it convinces my man that I'm a housewife but nope, I'm not a housewife, thanks though. I bite my lip mumbling "surprised they aren't back yet, they probably went for lunch or something, I'd like to leave to get to my moms house by tonight though." I then decide to call Benny and he answers saying "hey" and I say "hey, what's up?" He says "nothing much, were on our way back" and I say "ok, I'd like to leave to go to my parents house once you get back and everyone is packed" and he says "I like that idea, I love you, I'll see you later" and I say "bye, I love you too." We hang up and I do laundry and the dishes and by the time they're back, all the laundry is done and so are the dishes. I sit on the couch saying "I'm so cool" yawning and laying down just waiting for them to get back. When they get home Benny says "honey, I'm home" and I say "shhh, I'm sleeping" and he says "still?" I say "no, I cleaned the house, you're driving, homie" and he says "I was planning to" and the kids are just laughing at us. I say "come here" and he comes over mumbling "hey, gorgeous" and I say "hey" smiling and I get up and I say "go get packed, weirdos, for two nights maybe?" They nod and they go to pack and Benny sits next to me on the couch and he kisses me saying "ok, I gotta go pack" and I say "don't forget your bat and whatnot." He says "ok" smiling and he goes to pack while I packed yesterday. I go and grab my bag and I put it in my car and the kids go outside and sit on the steps and Isa says "should I ask him now?" I say "about what?" She presses her finger to her nose and Elijah says "to see if you can do blow? I'm sure he'll say yes" rolling his eyes and we laugh and I say "he'll be out in a second, ask him if you want, if not, I'll ask" shrugging. She says "can you?" I say "sure" and Benny comes out and I say "you're slow" and he says "I know" and we get in and I kiss his cheek saying "I'm ready to watch Ham beat you" and Elijah says "Isa wants to ask you if she can do blow, dad" and Isa says "shut up, I'll kill you" and I laugh saying "that's not what she meant, dummy." Benny says "what's up?" Isa says "I wanna pierce my nose, can I?" Benny looks at me and I nod and he says "sure, I don't care" and I say "can I pierce my nose too?" He looks at me and I nod and he says "sure, I don't care, you're an adult, you don't have to ask me for something like that" and I say "just thought I'd ask" and we laugh and he says "ok?" I reach over to high five Isa and Benny says "stop planning stuff without me" and we chuckle and Elijah says "still convinced she wants to do blow." Isa slaps him across the face saying "shut up" and I say "don't hit people, only if it is deemed necessary" and we chuckle and Elijah says "not funny." I say "I'm sure you'll be fine" resting my hand on my mans thigh as he drives and he bites his lip, resting his hand on mine. I say "ya know, for how godly your mom is she sure does raise hell" rolling my eyes and Benny says "wow, I didn't know that" rolling his eyes. Isa says "what are we doing?" I say "meeting his mom, I know we talking about this yesterday and you don't want to but I think we just have to see how it goes." Elijah says "ugh, is she gonna pray my gay away too?" I say "is this you coming out to us?" He says "yeah" and I say "ok, I'm proud of you and I don't think so" and Benny says "she just kicked me out" shrugging. Isa says "and now she's inviting you back?" Benny says "yup, well, not me, she wants to meet you guys" and Isa says "but what about you?" She pokes my shoulder and I say "does your mom even like me?" He says "she's so clueless that she probably thinks were just friends still" and I say "I was there when you told her" laughing. He says "she doesn't take hints" chuckling and I say "mhmm" rolling my eyes and he chuckles and we get to my parents house about an hour later.
An hour later
I open the door and my mom says "hey, boys, hey kids!" She hugs me and I say "hey, mom" and she hugs Benny saying "II swear you've grown" and Benny says "I'm an adult" and she says "then I guess I'm shrinking" us chuckling. She goes to talk to the kids and we go into the living room and Angela and Cassie are there and I say "hey" and Angela says "omg, you guys are still the cutest things" coming up to hug us.
