Harley's POV
Hercules comes up to me and rests his head on my lap and I say "hello" chuckling and I say "this is The Beast, his name is Hercules" and Jordan says "you're kidding." I say "nope" and we sit here just watching them play and about an hour later Philips' team comes in just like they always did when they wanted to cause a ruckus. I say "here we go again" getting up and Benny mumbles "I'll deal with it, love" and I smile and Philips says "no, I don't wanna deal with you, big shot, I want your mediator" and I get up mumbling "predictable" and Benny chuckles. I say "sup" and he says "hey, babe, hows my car?" I say "your car is great, I still got it" and he says "wanna play just like old times?" I say "you gotta ask team leader, I don't play" and he turns to Benny saying "here, ten o' clock, prepare to lose" and Benny says "I'm down to lose but I just can't seem to do it" and Philips nods and his people leave. Jordan says "car?" I say "they were playing one time and they made a bet whoever would win could go on a date with me then I added to it if these guys won, I'd get his car and" and Ham says "we absolutely smoked them" and we laugh. I say "you know the car that we took here?" Jordan says "yeah" and I say "that car" and we laugh and I say "that car was his" us laughing and they play for a bit longer, Jordan just in awe and a group of kids come in at around three and they are all in awe looking over us. I mumble "I think they've heard of y'all before" and Ham says "hey, guys, wanna play with us?" They have five girls and four boys and they all look at each other and the girls are challenging them it looks so they all nod and a couple guys look at each other and one of them say "The Jets gonna give us an autograph if we win." Benny says "I'll give you the ball signed even if you lose" chuckling and I say "how long have you guys been playing together?" Their leader says "two years" and I say "you're a pitcher" and she nods and she says "how'd you know?" I say "I can see you being a really good pitcher" and Benny says "why are you good at guessing that stuff? I'm so bad at it" and I say "I'm either around this dummy or you guys or your team, I don't hang out with many people" chuckling and I say "I know what players play just by looking at them." He says "you're magical" and I say "I try" us chuckling and I say "you guys wanna bat first?" They nod and they get the pitcher batting first" and I say "DeNunez, don't do them dirty, they look fifteen" and she says "this is a dream come true to play with you guys, you can strike me out if you want." DeNunez says "try this one" and he pitches a fast ball but not fast like he pitches for Benny, probably like ten miles slower. She hits it no problem right to outfield and she runs two bases and I say "she's good" and they bat, most of them hitting the ball and running two bases. They switch and their catcher says "lets go already" and Benny says "yeah, shut up" and I chuckle saying "be nice, they're fifteen" and Benny says "going to outfield center" and the guy hears it and Benny says "strike me out" and the pitcher says "I don't think we can." Benny says "I believe in you, coming to you, center" and she softball pitches and I say "oh shit" and Benny hits it just like any other pitch right to center like he said he was going to and I smile and he runs a home run. I say "slow down, I don't need an injury today" smiling and he says "these kids are good, I found my self not going easy and I didn't have to." I say "the sandlot makes good players" shrugging and he says "damn right" smiling and he gets out of the way and Ham says "this ones for you, princess" and I say "I hope they strike you out" us all laughing. Ham says "I'll hit you with a bat" and Benny says "if you do, they won't find your body, we'll feed you to Hercules" and the girl pitches and Ham hits it and gets to first base. They keep playing and by the time its five, they're tied and I say "that's the end" and Benny says "it was a tie" and I nod saying "yup" and he says "they're good." I chuckle and Ham says "I want ice cream" and we all nod mutually and I say "what if we go get ice cream?" The kids nod and one of them say "curfews not till ten for us, so sure" and I say "y'all have curfew?" They nod and one of them say "strict parents" and I say "that sucks" and we get going and Benny says "pass me your ball, guys" and their pitcher, Alex, she says "it's your ball but alright" and he signs it and tosses it back to her. I say "where'd the pen come from?" He says "I've learned to carry one around" and I chuckle saying "point taken" and we walk to get ice cream and we all sit around outside and Benny says "what got you into the game?" Alex says "mom signed me up for softball a few years ago with the school and I loved it then I quit cause those girls were annoying and I put together a team." I say "I could never, that's so cool" resting my hand on Bennys thigh under the table and he shakes his head then furrows his eyebrows at me. I say "welcome back to Earth, weirdo" and we chuckle and Benny says "I was listening, I spaced though" and we all chuckle. He says "how's your guys' papers coming?" I say "mines done" and Jordan says "I don't know what to write, so barely started" and Benny says "damn" and we chuckle and I say "so how old are you guys, anyway?"
