Today is the 4th of July, when I wake up I look over to see Toni is already awake so I shoot her a look and she walks towards me. Fatin is the only other person awake so I don't hesitate to go give Toni a small peck.
"Morning bitches." Fatin says interrupting our kiss
I give her a small giggle "Morning Fatin." I say
"How are you to love birds?"Fatin asks while laughing
"Were fine." Toni says with a little eye roll
"Good, well I'm gonna go collect wood." Fatin says
"Okay" I reply
"He wanna go for a walk?" Toni asks quietly
"Yeah sure." I say while smiling
I grab her hand and we begin to walk towards our old camp as we get closer I see Toni's face gleam.
"What is it babe?" I ask
"It's it's a first aid kit Shelb." Toni screams in excitement as she runs towards the red bag.
I wanna be happy about this bag because it is really gonna come in handy considering we are running low on meds but it just feels too, I don't know too perfect like Leah said. But I push my feeling down and run over to Toni while smiling
"Great find baby." I say while leaning in to kiss her
"Yeah" Toni says
We head back with the bag and show it to Dottie.
"Oh my god, guys where did you find this?" Dot asks with a huge smile on her face
"Oh well we were looking around by the old camp and we saw it on the sand." Toni says
"This must be the medical bag from the plan, that big tide came in last night and the tide gets bad over there so it must have been washed up by that, but this is... awesome." Dottie says

*The bag looked something like this*
"Guys this bag is amazing it has more meds, gauze, those warps, a suture kit, and hydrogen peroxide." Dottie says smiling
"This will really help Rachel." Toni says
"Yeah" I say and walk towards Leah
"Hey, how are you doing?" I ask quietly
"I don't know Shelby, It's weird it's just too... too set up do you understand?" Leah asks
"Yeah, I know what you mean." I whisper to Leah
"Any way we don't wanna seem weird so why don't we bring this stuff to Rachel she is over there by Martha." I say to Leah
"Yeah, you're right." Leah says
We walk over to Dottie she is looking at Rachel's arm, Rachel has 3 shirts tightly wrapped around the wound to stop the bleeding and we have been trying our best to make sure it does not get infected.
"Okay Rachel I am gonna take the shirts off and put some hydrogen peroxide on it, then I'm gonna try to sew it up." Dottie says softly
Rachel makes a scarred face and looks to Martha who begins to hug her, Rachel and Martha had seemingly grown really close lately.
"Okay Rachel I'm gonna stick this shirt in your mouth so you can bite down on it, and you might pass out okay I'm not gonna sugar coat it this will hurt but it has to be done." Dot tells Rachel
We all sit down by Rachel and hold her. Honestly, I was kinda hoping Rachel would pass out so she didn't have to be in pain for too long. Dot applies peroxide and holds the needle while her hand is shaking.
"Okay, you ready?" Dottie asks
Rachel just closes her eyes and shakes her head. Dottie sticks the needle in Rachel's skin and she screams in pain. We all wanna help but there is not much we can do but just hold Rachel and be there for her.
"AHHHH FUCK." Rachel screams as Dot continues
Dottie looks really scared and she does not want to do this but after a second Rachel passes out from pain and Dot fishes up the stitches and wraps Rachel's arm.
It is about 11:00 a.m by the time this is all over and Rachel is up.
"You know what I was thinking about guys, it's the 4th of July." Rachel says quietly
"Oh yeah, I guess we all just kinda forgot." Toni says with a giggle
"You know what my family always dose on the 4th of July, we sit by the fire grill and get waisted, and ya know there's some vodka left so..." Fatin says
"Sounds like a plan." Dot laughs
"Cool, I can go get some food." Toni says
I was about to offer to come with her but before I could Martha cut me off.
"All come to." Martha said
Dottie and I went to get wood and get the fire started while Fatin talked to Rachel.
