August 5th (AKA the first day at the bunkers) from Rachels POV
I begin to walk into my room when the man who brought us in stopped me.
"Hey, you need to go to the medical center first so they can fix that arm" The man says as he looks at my arm with a worried face
"Oh yeah, of course, it's just been so hectic it completely slipped my mind." I reply
He leads me to the medical area and I see Shelby for a second but then they direct me to a separate room.
"Hello Rachel, I'm gonna help take care of your arm." the doctor says to me
I just nod and try to zone out, I have no interest in looking at what used to be my arm.
"Well, luckily you guys did a great job cleaning it because it's not infected." The doctor says as she takes the badge off
"Oh that's good" I reply half-heartedly
"But we do have a lot of fixing to do with this arm so you will have to stay down here tonight." The doctor tells me
"Okay" I reply, I can't bother to think about my arm or anything else for that matter because I am way too worried about Nora. She's out there all alone in the dark, cold and hungry, it's horrible. I just hope they can find her that's all I want. As the lady is cleaning my arm I here a knock
"Come in" I say
"Hi Rachel, I'm agent young, me and my associate Dr.Faber will be taking over your care here." He says
"Oh, okay did they tell you about my sister?" I ask
This dude looks like he gets things done so maybe he's the one to help me.
"Yes we were informed of the situation with your sister and we have a team looking for her right now." He tells me
"Great thank you." I say
"No problem, I brought you some dinner and we will interview you tomorrow morning." He tells me
"Okay thank you" I reply
He just nods and smiles then leaves.
I just hope they can find my sister. If I came home without her mom and dad would be so upset. I can't lose my sister and they can't lose a daughter.
"You should eat, this will take a while." The doctor says
I look down at the food and start to feel a little sick just looking at it. But then I think about Nora, she would want me to eat or at least try so I will try.
The next day
I wake up to the sound of knocking on my door, I look around and it takes me a second to rejust and figure out where I am. I look around and see my arm all wrapped up and I feel the wax paper under my butt.
"Hey I have breakfast" I hear an unfamiliar voice say
"Okay you can come in" I reply
"I am Dr.Faber, It's nice to finally meet you, Rachel."
"Yeah nice to meet you too, so what's the plan for today?" I ask
"once you eat and get dressed we can do your interview, but take your time we have Leah in there right now." The man says
"Cool" I reply as I get out of bed
once he leaves I attempt to change, I haven't had to figure out how to do this yet it's still an adjustment. All this is an adjustment I can't really do anything on my own yet. But I will figure it out on my own because in the real world you can't rely on anyone but yourself. I use my arm to hold up my pants and I stick my left leg in, easy enough right but then comes the problem how do I get my other leg in if I have to hold up this side. I will just sit on the bed and do it, okay pants on good. After a few minutes of messing with my shirt, I still haven't been able to get it on.
"SHIT" I yell as i drop my shirt to the floor for the 5th time
"Hey do you need some help" The doctor asks from the other side of the door
"No I'm good" I reply
A little while later I am finally able to get my shirt on and as soon as I do it's time for me to go get interviewed.
When I get in there they start by asking about my home life and my family. That gets me thinking I wonder how my parent are holding up, or if they even know.
"My parents do they know about Nora?" I ask them
"Just the broad strokes, which is basically all we know at this point." Agent young tells me
"Care to help us with the specifics?" Faber asks
"No, I don't wanna talk about what happened to her" I say kinda upset that they brought her up, I mean I don't want you to talk about her I want you to look for her.
After that, they ask me about EVERYTHING, everything but her, they ask me about every little detail about my time there and before I got to the island.
I really hope you guys liked this chapter. I know Dot is technically next in order but I am gonna do a little Leah/Shelby POV next chapter and then we will move on to Dot.
