“Okay, so we will all meet up at the bowling alley in about an hour,” as everyone nods and says their goodbyes, I add, “whoever is the last one there, has to buy the pizza.”
After I got home I told my mom and dad what my plans were for tonight, started so of my homework-- the easy assignments-- and then I get dressed black dress pants and a lace white t-shirt with black flats. Straightening my curly black hair, I put on a small amount of makeup on my face and then head towards the bowling alley.
Getting out of my car, I notice that I am the last one to arrive; I even spot Thea—who is usually the least punctual person I have ever met—standing next to Tanner and an extremely attractive man.
“Crap,” I say, once I get close enough to my friends so that they can hear me, “I guess I have to buy the pizza,” I tell them, letting a pout fall across my face; hoping that they will feel bad and not make me pay. Instead of offering to pay, they all burst out in laughter; saying that I shouldn’t have said that whoever the last one to arrive was, had to pay for pizza.
“Whatever, you all did that on purpose,” sticking my tongue out at them; I walk into the bowling alley, buy my shoes, and then go over to the concession stand—ordering two large vegetarian pizzas and a couple of pitchers of soda.
“Okay, our pizzas will be here in about twenty minutes; so, we might as well start playing,” I say to them, putting on a pair of socks and lacing up my shoes.
“What type of pizzas did you get?” Conner asks, while setting up the order for our game.
“Vegetarian,” smirking when I hear everyone groan, I hear Conner muttering about how I am going last for that.
“Come on, I hate going last,” I say, walking over to him to see if he actually put me last. Noticing that I am actually on the bottom of the list, I start fighting with him; trying to get control over the machine.
“I am going to choose who is going first, because you are being biased,” I say to him, pushing his hands away from the enter button and pulling on his hair.
“Ouch, stop pulling my hair,” he says, biting my fingers that are pulling his hair. Pulling even harder on his hair, he grabs onto mine; somehow ending up on the floor, he pins my legs to the ground and starts smacking me in the face with my own hands.
“Why are you hitting yourself,” he asks mockingly. When I realize that I can’t pull my hands from his grasp, I resort to trying to bite him.
“Stop it! Lillian, control your child,” I implore towards her; noticing that no one is going to come to my rescue, I decide to use drastic measures.
“Oh my god, my forehead!” I shout, finally able to use my hands, holding my head.
“Your forehead? My nose, I think that it is bleeding!” Conner says, whining like a little baby.
“Wah, I am going to cry like a little baby, because my nose hurts,” I say to him, sarcastically. Standing above Conner, who is rolling around on the floor, I give him the finger and then I rearrange the list of who goes first and put Conner on the bottom.
“Now that that is settled,” I walk over towards Thea, Tanner, and I am guessing the man that is his brother, “Hi, I am Ashlyn.”
Accepting my hand, unlike the first time I met Tanner, I smile at his older brother, “My name is Kolby Mateev.”
