you left me
and you took
my heart
with you

Tamina walked down the stairs and saw Calum standing by the door, his eyes were bloodshoot and puffy from all the crying that he had been doing throughout the day and the night before.
"Hi Tamina," he said when he saw her. She kept quiet for a moment before answering him.
"Hi Calum," she said, walking towards him, dragging the suitcases behind her. Her eyes were puffy as well but they didn't look too puffy since she was wearing makeup.
He looked at the floor and he wanted to cry, but he was tired of crying. He knew that he was going to start crying again when she walked out that door, but he was trying to keep his composure for his sake.
"I have to go," Tamina said quietly.
He opened the door and clenched his teeth together, then let out a sigh. "Go," he said.
"Calum, don't do this," Tamina said, looking into his eyes, "Please, don't make me feel any more guilty than I already do."
"You don't feel guilty," he scoffed, "Just go, leave." He was so angry with her for what she was doing.
"Calum," Tamina said, "I love you, I really do, I just-"
"Need to have a fresh start, and all," Calum finished for her, "You said that already, now go."
"Goodbye Calum," she said, letting another tear roll down her cheek.
Tamina took a deep breath and walked out the door. Calum slammed it shut behind him and fell on the couch. He let the tears run down his cheeks and he looked out the window and watched the taxi drive away.
He grabbed a bottle of vodka from the floor and threw it at the door, but it didn't make him feel any better.
The thought crossed his mind. Maybe he would hop in his car and go after Tamina, but there was no point.
She made it clear that she was leaving him, and that there was nothing he could do to change her mind. He hated to think of spending the rest of his days without her, because she was all he wanted.
After years of secretly loving her, he finally had her, and then she left him.
He knew he was being selfish, not thinking about the way she felt, but he didn't care. He wanted her here, with him laying on the couch watching movies, laughing at nonsense.
They were both just selfish.
He hated the way that they had just ended things, he should have told her he loved her and that there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for her.
He should have at least said goodbye back to her.
He didn't know what to do next, he the only person that he really cared about, he lost her, he was such an asshole to her, he hated himself for it.
The only thing that was going through his mind was how he was supposed to function witout her. She was basically all he had left, and then she left. What if she met someone else and forgot about him? The thought of it made him feel sick to his stomach.
