MURDER HOUSE

BOSTON

two rules

never play alone

always say goodbye

-

Two teenagers walked to the back door of the murder house. Carrie grabbed the bobby pin that was in her hair and picked the lock to the back door.

"Are you sure we should do this?" the red-head asked, fiddling with her fingers.

"We lost the bet Penny, Carol and Ben are making us do this."

"But I don't see why we can't just say that we went in the house, why do we actually have to do it?" Penny sighed. She was one of those girls, she couldn't deny that she was paranoid, after all the rumors aobut the house and the most recent deaths that had happened where six teenagers died, she didn't really want to be anywhere near the house. She didn't even know why she had agreed to go along with the stupid dare. Oh right, she didn't want her friends making fun of her.

"Because, there's no fun in that," Carrie smirked. She finally got the door open and stepped aside for Penny to go inside the house first.

"No way," Penny shook her head.

"Why not?" Carrie laughed, "Scared? Don't be such a little-"

"Fine!" Penny nearly shouted, annoyed at Carrie's teasing.

She walked inside the house first, and almost immediately she felt a cold rush breeze right through her.

"Clear?" Carrie asked from outside, but Penny didn't answer. She only stared at her surroundings in shock. The house had something to it, it was like it was surrounded by fear and pain. The house made Penny sad and afraid, she felt both emotions at the same time.

Carrie rolled her eyes and walked inside the house, the same cold rush making goosebumps appear on her skin.

"Damn, it's cold," Carrie rubbed her arms. She walked into the living room, following Penny. Carrie swallowed hard, the house seemed so normal, but there was something about it that just made her have the need to look back every five minutes.

"Okay, we came inside," Penny said quickly, "Can we go now?"

Carrie sat in the middle of the living room and dropped the blue backpack that she was carrying. She opened it and Penny frowned, she didn't understand why Carrie had brought it in the first place until she pulled out a box, containg a ouija board.

"Carrie what the hell?!" Penny shrieked, "Put that back! Where did you even get it?"

"I bought it from that one store that's nearby, with the old guy who works there," Carrie explained, "The one you were to scared to go inside."

"Carrie please can we just go home?" Penny's hands shook as she spoke, "I really don't want to do this."

"Oh quit being a baby," Carrie rolled her eyes, "Sit down, we're playing."

        "Why?" Penny whined.

"The rumors of the house," Carrie smirked, "Maybe we can see them through the planchette, or if they're strong enough, we can see them without it."
