"There has to be some kind of discount you can give me," Paulina said to the doctor, "Please, this medicine, whatever it is, it works for her and without it, she's.. dangerous."

"There is nothing more I can do for you," he said to her, "I'm sorry Ms. Cartwright."

The doctor stood at the door of her house and Paulina shut the door in his face. She was so stressed out, what was she supposed to do now?

She grabbed her coat, the cold breeze piercing through her skin as she stepped outside. She went down to the crossroads, pulling out the small box from her jacket which contained everything to summon the one she was looking for.

Paulina said the Latin words, and turned her back for just a moment and a voice startled her, "Who summons me?"

Paulina turned around and looked at the very familiar demon, who she had summoned twice before to ask the same question, "When is our deal going through?"

"Things are slow down in hell, business is slow," the demon, Kathy, responded to her.

"Well make them go faster," Paulina snapped at her, "My granddaughter is spiraling out of control, I have to lock her inside her room because I'm that afraid of her."

The demon blinked and stared at Paulina with her black eyes, "There is nothing I can do."

Paulina looked at the floor, "How am I supposed to sleep in the same house as her, with fear that I'm going to be her next victim?"

The demon shrugged, "I don't know, just hold out a while longer, I already have your soul, the deal will go through."

"Will she forget?" Paulina asked her, "About all the people that she's hurt?"

"You never asked for me to erase her memory, so no, that was never a part of the deal," Kathy responded.

Paulina scoffed, "Well make it a part of the deal."

Kathy blinked again, her eyes returning to normal, "I have work I have to do, souls to collect. Don't summon me again."

Kathy walked past Paulina and when Paulina turned around to look at her, the demon was gone. Paulina sighed, she clutched her coat and then made her way back to the house.

When she opened the door, she froze when she saw her on the coach, Emma looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey grandma," Emma gave her a kind smile.

"How did you.." Paulina trailed off.

"I broke through," the girl explained, "I missed being able to walk around my house."

"Emma darling, you know why I kept you in there, don't you?" Paulina walked closer towards her granddaughter, she was afraid of her which made Paulina feel pathetic and weak.

"Of course I do grandma," Emma smiled again, "You think I'm a freak."

"I never said that Emma, I don't think you're-" Paulina started, but Emma got up and screamed at her.

"Shut up you bitch!" Emma yelled, "You think I'm a freak! That's all you think I am, that's why you keep me in my room like some kind of dog, but I'm not, I'm human!"

Paulina swallowed hard, "You should get some sleep, it's really late."

Emma wiped the tears that ran down her face, "Okay grandma."

The fifteen year old girl walked towards the kitchen, but Paulina stopped her, "Darling, what do you need? I can get it for you?"

"Water," Emma muttered.

Paulina nodded and walked towards the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water. She walked back to Emma and handed it to her.

Emma grabbed it and drank some of it, Paulina walked back into the kitchen and when she did, Emma slipped in the one pill she had been saving for the day that she knew she would need it.

Paulina walked back to her and grabbed the glass from her, drinking the rest of the water that her granddaughter had left behind.

Emma smirked and walked back up to her room and Paulina let out a sigh of relief once she was out of hearing range.

"God, what do I do?" Paulina felt like crying, but she didn't.

She walked back up to her room and lied her head on her pillow, and locked her door, she went to bed with fear coursing through her veins.

Emma didn't.

Emma sat in her room, awake on her bed clutching the glass she had in her hand. She paced around her room for another hour and a half before something inside her snapped.

She walked into her grandma's room and picked the lock with a hair clip from her bathroom. She put it in her hair once she got the door open and felt rage go through her blood.

Emma walked to the foot of the bed and stared at her grandmother who opened her eyes, feeling that someone else was in the room. She stared at Emma, who smirked at her. Paulina tried to get up, but her body was completely paralyzed.

Her own granddaughter had drugged her.

Emma jumped onto the bed and grabbed Paulina's pillow, putting it over her face. She pressed down and cried and screamed asking her why she would treat her the way that she did.

"I'm human!" Emma screamed at her, "Why didn't you try and talk to me? Why didn't you try to help me! Medicine isn't going to help me all the time grandma! I needed you and you weren't there!"

She took the pillow off and Paulina stared at her granddaughter.

She brought the pillow back down and after an entire two minutes, she took the pillow off and stared into the eyes of her grandmother.

Emma wiped the tears running down her face, "I'll see you in hell."
