Haylee and Calum walked into the record shop where Tamina worked, and when Haylee saw that she wasn't at the counter, she frowned.
"Sam," Haylee called out, "Are you here?"
A brunette walked out of one of the aisles and walked to the counter. She smiled at the sight of Haylee and greeted her kindly. She also smiled at Calum and cleared her throat.
"I'm Sam," she said to him, "You are?"
"I'm Calum," he shook her hand.
"Is Tammy here?" Haylee asked Sam, "I really have to find her, it's kind of important."
Sam shook her head and frowned, "Is everything okay?"
Haylee nodded, "Yeah, do you know where she went?"
Sam nodded, "Lunch break, she said she was going to the library, probably to finish reading that one book I recommended to her. If she's not there then maybe she's at that one cafe."
"We were just there," Haylee said, "She probably is at the library, thanks Sam!"
Sam waved goodbye and they walked out of the shop. Calum looked back and smiled, "She works here now?"
Haylee nodded, "Yeah, I have to get to my job soon, so we have to go to that library quick."
"The quicker the better," Calum said.
Haylee waved her hand at a taxi that was coming there way and she smiled when it stopped. Her and Calum got inside and she told the driver where there destination was.
Calum had no idea what he was going to say when he saw Tamina, or what he was going to do. He really hoped that they could go back to normal, the way that they were before.
He really did love her, she was the only person that he had left in his life really. He wasn't close to either of his parents after what happened when he was in high school. High school was one of the most tragic and life changing moments for all of them, lots of secrets were unraveled and things were exposed that probably shouldn't have been.
But he couldn't deny that he enjoyed spending high school with his friends. He always wondered how different their lives would be if they had listened to their parents and hadn't left Georgia. If they had just applied for college earlier then they would all probably be on the pathway to becoming successful.
He couldn't change that though, so much happened in high school that college was something that slipped all of their minds.
The world was big, and he was lost in it. He often had nightmares of the murder house, he often imagined his friends becoming vengeful spirits that couldn't let go.
He wondered if any more families would move into the house, if the media had publicized the murders that had occured in that house.
The thing that always freaked him out the most was the fact that they never got rid of the ouija board, it was probably still in the house, just lying around.
"You okay?" Haylee asked him.
He nodded, "Just a little nervous, that's all."
