After a week of just spending time with Nick (as per usual), we decided to go out for lunch. We went to the same place that we went all of the time. We had been going there since we started dating. We walked into the venue, hand in hand and we sat down to order. All was going well until someone showed up. I couldn't believe my eyes. Brittney had just strolled into the cafe and spotted us. Her face was priceless. Brittney looked like a mother who had just found out her eleven year old daughter had a boyfriend,
"Follow my lead," Nick spoke to me as he realised that Brittney was there. He got up from his seat and walked over to me, grabbing my hand to indicate that he wanted me to stand up. I stood up in front of Nick. He simply put his arms around my waist and kissed me. We both pulled away smiling and knowing that Brittney was going to be ridiculously jealous. We looked over at her to see her face. Although it looked furious, it was hilarious. Nick and I started to laugh and Brittney started to make her way towards us, steam practically shooting out of her ears. She couldn't handle the fact that I was happier than what she was,
"I hate you! You're such a bitch! Nick and I were the perfect couple until you came along. You ruined our relationship and now I hate you," Brittney screamed in my face. I was thinking of something witty to say back to her,
"Did you hear me ask for your life story?" I said to Brittney, her face was inches away from mine. As I expected she didn't answer my rhetorical question but instead stormed out of the cafe. I had finally defeated my worst enemy and I couldn't have been happier.Nick and I sat back down to enjoy our delicious lunch now that one problem was gone from our lives forever.
At least one problem always seemed to arise in Nick and I's relationship about every couple of days, so it wasn't surprising that in the shops one day we ran into the worst person imaginable. Nick and I were just dawdling around in the shops because we had nothing else to do. A girl stopped right in Nick's path, making him trip,
"Hey babe, what are you doing with this girl? I haven't heard from you in forever," A million thoughts rushed into my head. Had Nick cheated on me again? I wasn't sure where this conversation was going to go, or if I would leave the shops with a boyfriend or a broken heart,
"Who are you?" I said to this mysterious girl. I took an automatic hating to her because she could possibly the girl that would take Nick away,
"How don't you know who I am? I thought that Nick would've told you by now," She said with sass in her voice. Why would Nick tell me who she was? She was just a stranger to me.
