Nick and I collected all of our bags and decided to wait outside to take a taxi to our accommodation. We were staying in Honolulu. Soon enough, a taxi came and took us to the resort,
"I can't believe we are actually here. This is going to be amazing," Nick spoke with a smile. He was genuinely happy that we could finally spend time in each others company, away from all of the drama,
"I know. I can't believe it either," I replied to Nick. The resort had just come into our sight and it looked stunning. We got out of the car and made our way towards reception. As we were walking we saw a pool that practically no one was swimming in and a water fountain that created a round about for cars to drive around. We checked in to the resort and started to make our way to our room. We were staying in something like a villa. Inside there was a large, white corner lounge with a flat screen TV and through a doorway was the bedroom. It had a white double bed with a blue blanket at the bottom. There was a verandah that went off from the bedroom, showing a beautiful view of the clear watered beach. It was great.

I walked back into the living room to find Nick laying on the lounge,
"Hey Nick, do you want to go for a walk around the resort?" He didn't answer for a while and as I walked closer to him I realised he was asleep. I decided to leave him be and to actually have a sleep myself. Jet lag was never a good thing. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyelids. After a couple of seconds everything went black. I was asleep.

A couple of hours later I woke up. I looked outside to see that it was the afternoon. I slowly got off of the bed and made my way to the living room. Nick was wide awake and was watching a football game,
"Run, Rabbitohs, run!" Nick screamed at the TV screen. I walked over and sat down next to him,
"Oh, hello there, how was your sleep?" Nick asked, planting a kiss on my forehead,
"It was exactly what I needed. How about yours?" I asked Nick. I remembered the sight of him sleeping with his mouth open on the plane. It made me giggle,
"Yeah it was pretty good. I'm taking you out for dinner tonight. It's nearly 6 so we should probably start getting ready," I smiled at Nick. This really was going to be a romantic holiday. I kissed Nick's cheek and got up from the comfortable lounge, my mind going through my whole wardrobe to find the perfect outfit to wear.
