"Getting married is always a time for a new beginning," Kitchie Ng concluded as we wrapped up our three-day seminar workshop which for me lasted forever having had to endure Lance and Yvonne.

And they're finally getting married in five days! Five days and I'd lost him forever! My best friend told me to snatch Lance but how could I ever do that? How could I ever be in comparison with Yvonne? The cheerleader Yvonne who always made boys go gaga over her! The two of them was already a perfect pair! Insert me in the picture? I would just totally be laughed at!

"Gosh, I could no longer wait!" Yvonne exclaimed in excitement. I don't know if she's that too excited to marry Lance or just excited with the thrill of wedding preparations. But this is not of my concern. My concern should be to stop feeling for Lance. Childish crush no more, I should grow up! They are getting married. Period.

"Pick us to help you out! Don't worry about the professional fee. We will give you our services for free. We're already experienced doing weddings with Ms. Kitchie in Manila. Your wedding could be our grand jumpstart for our wedding planning business here in our city!" my best friend unexpectedly proposed to Yvonne. "What do you think?" she asked turning to me. Gladly she still solicited my opinion.

"Why not?" the only words that came out from my mouth as she secretly pinched me from behind to agree with her. What was she thinking? She knew perfectly well that I had feelings for Lance and now she's doing this to me!

"That would be great!" Lance agreed.

"Well, what are batch mates in high school for?" Yvonne declared in agreement with a very big smile on her face. "I could just scream right now for that offer!" she continued.

"Is everything okay there, dear?" Ms. Kitchie asked as Yvonne's voice became louder than hers.

"Oh, yes Miss Kitchie. We just closed a business deal here!" she suddenly stood up. "Look, we're getting married in five days," she motioned Lance to stand also. He then complied. "And these two aspiring yet already experienced wedding planners here will be doing our wedding!" she added and let us also stand.

"That's an excellent decision, my dear! I had them in my team before and I promise you that they can deliver splendidly," Ms. Kitchie complemented. "So why won't we give a hand to the future bride and groom as well as to the first official event of Legally Hitched Weddings and Events. I suggest that name for your future business, dears," she added as she proudly introduced us to the audience.

After a round of applause, we had photo opp with our mentor, the great Kitchie Ng. I thought that was the end of my inner ordeal with Lance and Yvonne. I thought I could move on in peace after our seminar workshop. However, that was only the beginning. Unpredictable as my best friend, unpredictable circumstances also happened.

On the other hand, on that day was born Legally Hitched Weddings andEvents. It was only yesterday when mybest friend and I dreamed of having our very own business. It was only yesterday when we were in highschool crafting our shop. It was onlyyesterday when I had Lance all for me even for only that precious moment in thetyping laboratory. It felt like it wasonly yesterday.
