Me and my best friend met with our latest client to review Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos' runaway wedding six years ago. Imagine that, they've managed to keep everything away from public eyes during the preparations. The whole nation was shocked after the wedding was out in the open! Well at least, the couple was not that selfish. They still managed to have a special coverage on it on national TV with behind the scenes.

Today when flash mob wedding proposals are a hit, we got hired to do the very first one here in our small city. The big challenge was how to do things discretely as Ryan and Judy Ann did. So there we were, two 32-year-not-so-young ladies anymore whose number of years already exceeded that of the number of days in the calendar at the prime of our careers and still single.

"Hello," my best friend got up from her chair as she answered her smartphone.

"Hey, there. Long time no hear, missy! Or is it already a missus?" James was teasing my best friend at the other end of the line.

"So what's up with you, big boy?" my best friend answered with a question.

"I called to deliver sad news. You went to the same high school as mine, right?" he counterchecked.

"Yeah, yeah. Just don't mention our years in between," my best friend said rolling her eyes.

"So I just got a confirmation that our Biology teacher from way, way back, Mrs. Gonzaga just passed away," he announced.

"Oh, that's sad to hear," my best friend said crestfallen.

"Wanna come with me to the wake?" he offered.

"Alright. I'll tell Anj about this. I'll text you what time you're gonna pick us up," my best friend replied.

"OK, I'll see you both then. Get excited to see me. Chow!" he teasingly said.

"Bye," my best friend ended the call.
