May love come, may love go. Just always open your heart to it then you'll end up amazed by the magic it does! Embrace love, welcome love, and stay alive! For what is living without loving after all...

At the realization of being in love with him, I had written that. Indeed, my life turned around that it was like living in a teenage dream. I admit, every single moment I had with him were my firsts. Well, except that of my first kiss with Lance. That was only a reckless whim of him!

"Can you finish an order of halo-halo?" Tom asked one fine afternoon during our rehearsal for his grandparents' renewal of vows.

"Nope," I answered.

"So let's just share that then," he offered grabbing the glass of halo-halo and taking a spoonful of it using my spoon.

"I thought you were not drinking coffee," the text from Tom said as we had coffee with his grandparents after our rehearsal dinner.

"Just trying out this cup of decaf," I replied to his message.

"Isn't it weird that we're texting while we're only facing each other?" his text was in my inbox again.

So there were the secret texting and stolen glimpses. Oh, what a clandestine feat that was with the thrill of getting caught!

"Anj, are you getting my messages?" another text came out from my phone again. This time, it was not Tom's. It was from Lance.

"What can I do for you and Criselda?" I replied.

"We'll just see you at your shop tomorrow, OK?" he texted back.

"Dear, let's go?" Mrs. Gutierrez' prompted me as Mr. Gutierrez left a tip for the waiter at our table.

"OK," I accidentally replied to Lance's message. That was supposed to be my answer to Mrs. Gutierrez but the message was sent!

"Come on now," Tom got up from his chair and took my bag as he also motioned at my back holding my chair for me before I get up.

"Alright then, see you," Lance's message said.

"What was I doing? There I was with a boy whose only goal in life is to make me smile everyday yet I was connecting with a high school ex-crush and his wife!" I battled with myself as I was tailing behind Tom and his grandparents out from the blue and white-themed coffee shop.
