The sun rose from the mountains, peeking it's bright, shining light across the lands. The birds chirping, and the wind blowing in the trees near by, shaking they're leaves and the flowers that grown. A loud snore was the loudest to be heard, a young monkey resting in her bed, hair messy, drool on the pillow and in a position that shown that she was a fighter when sleeping, with the bed messy and one of the pillows on the floor. This, was Li Mei.

As the sunlight peeled through the window, a little ray of sunshine fell onto her face, making her groan and open her eyes to the sight of the hot sun that shines its way through. She let out a small yawn and got up, sitting up in her bed stretching and cracking her back. She looked at the time and saw that it was the time to go run the daily errands She got up, put on a dirty old apron and her black slippers and fixed her long messy hair into a neat and nice bun, giving her hair a little run through before leaving out only a small streak of hair. Her bright blue eyes glowing with confidence and excitement as she grabbed the basket for errands.

She opened the door, only to be greeted with the bright sunlight and the cool spring breeze. The birds was music to her ears and her tail held the basket as she closed the door, hopped off the porch and ran into the city her errands. She ran past the villagers, some of them saying "Hi" while others were surprised and amazed by her fast speed as she ran by them. Determined for her chores and errands to be done. She quickly went to the first shop to be in town, the fruit shop.

She greeted herself to the friendly shop owner. "Hello! It's me, Li Mei!! I came to run some errands and I came to see if you had any peaches or mangos!" She said with excitement. The shop owner smiled and said "My, My young lady, you have such excitement, you remind me of myself when I was younger.." the old woman said. Li smiled a bit, feeling happy to still see the old shop owner happy, she liked seeing people happy. It made her happy. The reason why she needed these fruits and errands was for the winter, it was coming soon and she needed to grab some supplies for the winter and the amounts of snow that will occur during it.

"Why yes I do! Young one!" The old woman said, she held a bag of peaches and other delicious ripe fruits putting them into the basket. Li Mei smiled and payed the woman, and saying "goodbye" and running off to another shop to run her errands.

She then saw Sandy, with his kittens and cats walking through town. "Sandy!!!" She shouted, calling out to him, waving and running towards him happy to see him. Sandy flinched from hearing her and saw her stopping and standing in front of him, "Hello there Li Mei! What brings you into town? Running errands for your pop's?" He asked, smiling in his bright orange beard. "Yeah! I am! What brings you into town Sandy? Grabbing teabags for tea? Cat food for your adorable kittens???" She asked, he chuckled and smiled more, "Why yes! I see that you was grabbing peaches for your errands! Monkey King LOVES peaches! Hopefully if the monkey EVER visits, maybe you could give him some!" He said.

"WAIT!!! You KNOW the monkey king?!!" She asked with shock and excitement. "Yup!" Sandy answered, "Me and him go way back! As well as pigsy and tang! They know the monkey like the back of they're hands!" Li grew with even more excitement, couldn't wait to hear more of her favorite legend from one of her closest friends. "Tell me more plz!!!" She asked with impatience, Sandy chuckled and nodded. "Alright Li Mei, but some of these stories are far from YEARS ago, many, MANY legends and tales of the Monkey King have been told, you ready to be told the greatest tales of the Monkey King?!" Li smiled widely and hopped in place, excited and couldn't wait to hear stories of the monkey she's been a fan of for so long.

After talking with Sandy, she went to grab noodles for a lil snack in town. Pigsy's noodles was her favorite food to eat, especially visiting tang, Mei and MK, MK was also a close friend of hers and was a fan of the Monkey King. That was the one thing they had always had in common, as she went inside, she saw the place packed with customers. Pigsy working on making noodles for an order and tang just being usual, sitting and eating noodles while in the back with Pigsy. MK was the delivery boy, always giving out orders and trying his best not to be lashed out by Pigsy. Every once in a while, she would offer to help MK and give out orders herself. Sometimes even helping Pigsy with the cooking. She saw Mei and Tang sitting at the table being themselves and slacking off as usual, she tried to get to them through the customers, and finally reached Pigsy. "Hi Pigsy!" She shouted, startling the pig. "Ahh!! Don't startle me like that kid!!" He shouted back, only making Li chuckle, "I see your busy! Maybe..I can help???" She asked. Pigsy quickly agreed, throwing her an apron and letting her help. She chuckled again, putting on the apron and began to make noodles.
