•Chapter 18• {|Heading To The Mountains|} •Pt.2•

The three travelers were flying through the clouds in the sky, they've been flying for quite a while but were fine. Wukong was sitting and sinking in the breeze of the fast wind that flowed by, his eyes resting and enjoying the feeling. Li was resting and talking with MK, telling stories that Kenji told her as a child. "My grandpa used to be a professional at using blades, he still has the skills but because he's aged, he finds it quite hard to use them..." Li told MK, the boy listening and looking interested and amazed by her stories, "Cool! What else did he do?! I heard he defeated Macaque before, when he was up in the air, he SHOVED the two blades he wielded into the eyes of the shadow monster that Mac was able I turn into! Killing it in one blow!!! It was so cool!" Said MK, Li responded, "Yup! He did it, but Wukong was there too, Wukong looked so much younger back then my grandpa said, before he retired, he used to be the most mischievous person he's ever met! They would go on loads of adventures together and defeat and stop demons and monsters together it was incredible to hear! And he defeated the Lady Bone Demon with him! Although...he almost died trying.." Li said while she sweated a bit and smiling nervously at the last part. "The Lady Bone Demon..??" MK asked, looking puzzled from the unknown name. Wukong then cut himself in, sitting next to the two and bringing himself into the conversation. "Hey guys! How ya doin? I heard that SOMEONE was talking about my adventures with Kenji hmmm?" Asked Wukong, glaring his eyes at Li and giving her a smirk. She only chuckled and rubbed behind her head in embarrassment from him hearing her. "I-....Oh yeah! I was telling MK about my grandpa's stories! He seemed interested so I told him about the adventures you and grandpa had!" Wukong only chuckled and sat next to her. "It's alright! Ya old man was the man back in the day, beating and knowing everything in the training that we had together, the enemies we've fought, and the amount of peaches we got to steal! Oh hehehe, it was great being friends with him! He was a mischievous monkey like me!" Li was amazed by this, her eyes growing wide and glowing with admiration to the monkey, "That's incredible! It still surprises me that he was friends with the great Monkey King himself!" She said, feeling more inspired and interested from Wukong and was urged to learn more of his grandfather's past, then MK brought it up. "Hey Monkey King, what happened with you and Kenji when you guys was fighting the Lady Bone Demon?" Wukong's face turned from a happy and calm expression into one that resembles fear and destress, making Li immediately confused and concerned while MK continued. "Uhm..M-Monkey King..???" he asked nervously, Wukong then spoke, "It was like a living nightmare..." the tone he had, he sounded as if he got more serious on the topic and didn't want to speak of it, so Li immediately thought of changing the subject and smiled nervously. "UHM- maybe we should change the subject to something more....fun?" She asked, Wukong's face changed from fear back to his normal and happy state within seconds, as if he wasn't unsettled about anything, him turning and sitting calmly, back facing the two. MK still was confused but went along with it. "Uhm..yeah we could! Hmm..oh! While you guys were napping me and Mei had a dance party in my room, Pigsy ended up yelling at us tho, complaining about the loud music! Hehe...I guess he doesn't like loud music.." said MK, laughing in embarrassment as he rubbed his hair back due to the wind, Li only laughed with him.

Wukong was still sitting crisscrossed on the cloud and was relaxed at the calming feeling around him and seeing the clouds flow by them, the sun slowly beginning to set as they went across the skies. Li saw the monkey and went to him carefully, not wanting to disturb his peace, sitting next to him and looking out into the sky as they passed by. Wukong gave a small sigh of relief due to his stress and looked relaxed, Li felt relaxed as well, small streaks of her hair flowing through the wind and her closing her eyes in closure to the peace. MK sat back, messing and playing with the staff as he swung it around and acted like he was fighting someone, making random sounds and swatting around the staff still, he then looked and saw Li and Wukong sitting next to each other and enjoying the ride, he didn't say or do anything or disturbed them, he only watched and smiled. Li then felt like someone was looking at her, she opened her eyes and Wukong glaring at her, making her flinch and look surprised and confused. "Uhm...hello Wukong! Uhh...is there something wrong..??" She asked puzzled at the monkey, he only chuckled and then spoke to her, "Nope, nothing's wrong, I'm just glad your ok so far...not to mention that the late evening is coming real soon..I'm hoping we get there in time...." He said softly, smiling at her. The monkey's face grew red from smile smile and quickly looked away to break the awkward eye contact. "T-Thank you...I appreciate it..but I think I'll be ok...." she said in a nervous tone, looking to the side away from Wukong, looking at the clouds around her. Wukong felt a bit in awe from her and blushed a little, they then heard MK snickering and chuckling behind them, flinching and looking behind themselves, seeing MK laughing under his breath and having his phone out as if he was recording the two. He then opened his eyes and saw the two staring at him, making him yelp and immediately put his phone away behind his back, him sweating and smiling nervously back to the two monkey's. "Uhhh....I was recording the sky! I-It looked so beautiful I had to-" he spoke, but then was cut off by Wukong. "We know what you was doing kid, stop making excuses! hehehe...but you are right, the skies are beautiful today...evening is coming.." said the Monkey King as he looked up at the skies and began to see small colors of purple and pink/orange throughout the sky as the sun was soon setting, Li looked at the skies as well, her admiring the colors that began to show in the blue of the sky, a small whoa escaping her mouth, "This IS beautiful..." she muttered, catching Wukong's attention.
