•Chapter 25• {|A Day in Megapolis|} •Pt.1•

An hour had passed, Li and Kenji was having tea and chatting but then while Li had her side of the conversation, Kenji noticed a butterfly flying around, telling from the designs it was easily to be Wukong, the butterfly yawned and went to the couch but then glowed gold and a monkey shaped figure fell onto the couch and a loud sluggish yawn sounded from it, revealing Wukong in his normal monkey form and still sleepy. Li heard the yawn and looked, seeing Wukong and smiling at him. "Morning Monkey King!" She whispered cheerfully to the monkey, Wukong sharing back a gaze and smiling back as he sat up right on the couch. "Hi Li! How...long have you guys been up?" Asked Wukong, him looking puzzled as he held his hands behind his head while leaned back against the couch, "We were just talking and drinking tea..grandpa told about what happened when he met-" "Macaque?" Said Wukong, cutting off Li and looking a bit irritated but then returning to a calmer face. "Y-Yeah..." she responded, looking a bit guilty for bringing him up but then heard the others moving around and saw MK and Mei waking up, along with Pigsy, Sammy, and Tang. "Oh! Good morning you all, I see that you all slept well!" Li said, keeping her positive smile. "Morning Li! Didn't know you was up early!" Shouted MK as he got off the couch and went to Li, plopping down on the pillow beside her, Li returning with a chuckle. Tang yawned and put on his glasses, blinking a few and sighing. "I see that today is calmer than what happened not too long ago...thank the heavens.." he spoke, looking relieved to feel peace at last from all that the group went through, Pigsy added himself in. "Yeah! I'm already stressed out enough to worry about anything else! Hey kid! How ya feeling so far???" Asked Pigsy to MK, MK nodded and smiled. "I'm doing fine Pigsy!" He shouted back as he was patting his fists gently on the pillow out of boredom. "Ugh...can we do something fun today guys??? I mean...after all that's happened, maybe we could take a break and visit town! It's probably in reconstruction since we took out all the bots, aaaaaaand DBK hasn't been around lately sooo...can we go into...town?" Asked the boy with a bit of nervousness as he began to sweat. "Hey...maybe that's not a bad idea MK, but..."she paused, looking unsure for a bit and then looking at Kenji in worry. Kenji nodded as a sign of approval to the girl and she sighed. "Well, since my grandfather had decided in approval...yes, we can go to town.." she responded to MK, him immediately smiling widely and jumping up happily. "YES! Wooo!!! We can go to town!" He shouted as he jumped around, Mei smiling and joining him. "YAY! Thank you Li! This is gonna be awesome!" Pigsy then stepped in. "WHOA!!! Whoa! Whoa..! Did you NOT see what happened to you in town?! We got attacked by DBK, and now targeted by some...shadow monkey!? Think about it! Maybe, we should lay low, until all of this blows over! DBK might be up to something as soon as we get there!!!" He shouted in rage, pounding his fist against the floor and looking uncertain at the others. "Pigsy does have a point Kenji, you did say that Macaque is highly dangerous! he might find us and try all he can to hurt us! Or worse, DBK could be up to something...I mean look at what happened, I suggest we shouldn't take the risk.." Tang spoke, fixing his glasses and looking nervous.

Kenji then rethought of the idea and suddenly got flashes of what happened...the fight in the mountains, the damage the Demon Bull King family caused and the terrible injuries Wukong, Li and MK endured and immediately snapped. "Tang is right, maybe we should reconsider on this...DBK COULD be planning something...or worse, Macaque is STILL out there! Imagine the danger my former student, or even worse, my OWN granddaughter will endure if they went out there all by themselves..! Even IF we was with him, he'll still probably attack and my grandchild will be hurt again AND-" "Grandpa!" Li shouted, cutting off Kenji who was beginning to panic as a way to calm him down. "Grandpa plz, don't beat yourself up and worry so much..sure we have endured such terrible things...but after what Wukong did to Macaque, he might be laying low for the sake of it...so he might leave us alone...you have every right to be scared and I too am afraid, but...we're ok, maybe it's safer now..." Li spoke in a sympathetic tone, holding her grandfather's hand as he was shuttering uncontrollably, him looking afraid. After a few seconds, he began to take deep breath's and calm himself, holding his stick and getting into a meditative position, nodding to Li and smiling a bit. Li smiled back and got up, stretching and then soon announced, "Alright everyone! I know that what we experienced and endured might've did a number in us...especially me, MK and Monkey King...but maybe now that everything is calmer now and everyone is laying low...maybe we could go into town and have some fun! I know your scared, but maybe if we took this opportunity to see the city...we could feel home again! The invasion is over and the Demon Bull King family is at bay...so, what do you guys say? A day in megalopis..???" She asked near the end, looking nervous at everyone, Wukong then spoke up. "I think it's a cool idea! Sure it's a bit of a risk but what if we have some fun for a change! We need it..ESPECIALLY after what happened!" Wukong said to everyone, they all looked at each other and thought for a moment, debating on what to decide until Sammy spoke up out of the silence. "I think it's a great idea! Let's go have some fun! And if there's any trouble, we can take care of it, as a team!" He shouted, smiling sweetly under his bright orange beard and Mo meowing to the idea.
