•Chapter 22• {|Wukong's Nightmare|}

The rain kept pouring down and thunder roared, Wukong was in his bed resting and recovering from the damage he's taken. Him seeming to be peaceful and calm. He then oddly began to feel cold and chilly, shaking a bit and moving a bit from the cold, he turned over and began to wake up, his vision clearing up and him seeing that the room is a mess, claw marks on the walls and curtains and frost oddly forming on the walls and corners of the room, he looked surprised and quickly got up, unwrapping himself and getting out of bed. When his feet touched the floor, it felt like he immediately got a frostbite, the floor was dead cold, he began to shake and grunted from the touch of the floor against his feet and looked around as cold air left his mouth. "What...what's going on...? What is this stuff..??? Claw marks...??? Did...did something happen in here...??" He asked himself as cold air kept leaving his mouth in every breath, him getting up and beginning to walk around. He walked to the door and saw that the doorknob was frozen solid, he looked confused and tried to open the door, twisting the knob and turning it till it loosened up, pushing the door open and a cold air immediately hitting him, he got a chill down his spine from the feeling and felt that the room he walked in was way colder than Kenji's. "Kenji??? Li..?? MK..?" He asked in a shaky voice due to the cold and cold air leaving his mouth once again, him looking around in search of the three, beginning to worry, he walked down the corridor, seeing more frost appear on the walls as he passed by and the pictures covered with fog due to the cold air, one even falling off the wall in front of him, making him flinch and stop. "What the..." he muttered, picking up the picture and looking at it, the face of Li and Kenji being torn out and...blood being on the broken glass. He felt uneasy about the picture and saw that it immediately turned into frost and ice just from his touch, "Ah!" Wukong yelled, dropping the picture and holding his hand tight, looking at it and immediately starting to feel it get colder and colder, then it...began to melt. "A-Augh!!! W-What is this?!!" Wukong screamed, skin and meat falling off his hand as cold air steamed from his bone, large clumps of blood and flesh dripping onto the floor. "A-AAAAAGH!!!" Wukong shrieked in pain, trying to find something or even the others to stop his hand from melting, going into the living room and....seeing true horror before his eyes. His eyes widened and gasped in horror as he saw everyone, even Li covered in ice, all of them looking like they were frozen alive...expressions of sheer shock and horror on they're faces, some able to move but shaking terribly from the cold ice that surrounded they're limbs and bodies...he even saw Li laying limply on her side, a claw mark in her side and blood leaking from her nose and mouth...he heard the voice of her say "Help......me..." Wukong gasped and screamed "LI!!!!" And rushed to her, trying to break the ice and snow but only created more, his hand burning and stinging from the pressure and snow, he screamed through the pain and burning, trying to reach Li, and when he touched her arm....it turned to ice completely. "AHHH!!!" Wukong screamed, "N-NO!!! LI MEI TALK TO ME!!! NO!!!" He screamed more, his other hand beginning to rot too, him gritting his teeth in pure agony from the burning and stinging, when he finally reached her, he held her up by her shoulders and cupped her face gently, smearing blood on her cheek. "L-Li Mei!! Talk to me, SAY SOMETHING!!! P-Plz!!! I don't want to loose you!!! Don't-" but then he paused by hearing something being murmured from her weak and shaky voice. "You......You did...you did this to me...." She murmured, Wukong then asked in disbelief, "W-What...?" Then she cried out, "YOU DID THIS TO ME!!!" She screamed, her voice growing deeper and her face beginning to melt, her pale and blue eyes falling from her sockets and her entire body beginning to freeze alive. Wukong screamed in pure horror, and saw that the same thing was happening to everyone, sharp pieces of ice impaling Li and the same thing happened to the others. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGHHH!!!" Wukong shrieked, gripping onto his hair in pure horror, his eyes flooding with tears but then he began to cough, covering his mouth with his skeleton hand and wheezed hacks coming out his mouth, he then began to hold his throat and cough more wet and wheezes coughs, he then covered his mouth, hurling and a glowing blue substance gushing from his mouth into his hands, dripping from his fingers onto the floor, muffled gurgling and coughs filling the room, he then began to violently shake and hurled again, the blue substance splattering all over the floor and Wukong coughing wet wheezes and him falling onto his hands and knees, panting and shaking from vomiting. "A-..Augh...." He said in a shaking whisper, the same substance dripping from his chin and mouth onto the giant puddle under him, he then felt a pain in his stomach, curling up on his stomach from the pain and his hair beginning to turn white, white as snow, it kept growing and growing all over the floor and Wukong's skin began to go pale, a blue skull face flashing and glowing on his own and a female laughter rigging in his ears. "S-STOP IT!!! leave me alone!!! What do you want?! I-I banished you away for good!!!" Wukong screamed in fear and pain, holding onto his ears and looking at his hands, them being full skeleton and the substance dripping from them then he heard a too familiar voice and everything went completely silent...."Getting tired of fighting, Monkey King?" Wukong's eyes then shot open, them seeming to be staring into thin air and small shaking whimpers escaping his mouth, his pupils turning black and dilating into a smaller size, his once bright and golden irises now a glowing and bright blue. Then all his hair fell loose and onto the ground, seeming to be flowing and straight, then his head immediately went down, his body slumped forward and his hair covering his face, then the thunder crackles, and a small and girly female chuckle comes from Wukong, and he spoke in the voice of a girl mixed with his own. "Oh, there are so many roles I have yet to play..." Then his head shot up, slowly turning his head, facing the forth wall and silence being the only sound. "Wukong." And his calm and straight face turned into a maddening and crooked smile, the lighting and thunder shining and rumbling and a female's laughter echoing from his mouth. Then everything flashed and he woke up.

"AUUUGH!!!!" Wukong screamed as he quickly sat up in his bed, drenched in a cold sweat and his eyes welded up with tears, he then began to feel everything, his hair, face, hands, and room to make sure it was only a nightmare. "Wait....so that...was a nightmare..?" He muttered in a shaking voice as he got up and immediately left the room, rushing down the corridor and accidentally bumping into Li, Li let out a small yelp and stumbled back, still trying to balance herself on her walkers due to her sprained leg, her falling back and screaming in surprise, her arms swinging frantically. Wukong saw and immediately went to grab her hand, "L-Li!" He shouted, grabbing her hand and wrapping his arm around her waist, holding her close. Li opened her eyes and saw that she didn't fall but saw Wukong holding her in his grasp from her hitting the ground, him bent over onto a knee. "W-Wukong...?" She asked nervously, Wukong responded, "Yeah....? What's wrong?? Are YOU...ok??" Both of them blushed a bit from they're faces being close together and she gulped. "Y-yes...I'm ok..I-I heard you scream so I came to check on you...are you alright..?" She asked with concern, looking into his eyes. Wukong the remembered when he touched her in the nightmare...her entire arm froze and began to melt....he then flashed back into reality and quickly let her go with a startled gasp, her yelping and gently landing on her back. "Oof!" She shouted, grunting and trying to get back up.

Wukong saw and immediately apologized to her, helping her up and holding her on her feet. "Wukong are you sure your alright..??? I haven't seen you acting like this before..!" She asked in confusion and concern, grabbing her walker and getting her balance. "Y-Yes I'm fine Li Mei...I just need to lay down, my head hurts.." Wukong said in a bit of irritation and sighed. Li felt like she should ask what was wrong but didn't want to stress him out, she had her own problems to deal with, so she began to walk back to the others but then was stopped by Wukong. "Wait.." he said, gently grabbing her arm, she turned and looked back at him in confusion. "Yes Wuko-" she replied but was cut off by a peck on her cheek, she then realized that Wukong kissed her cheek, a bright red blush growing onto her cheeks and face. Wukong then pulled away and gave her a small reassuring smile. "Thank you Li...for everything, I'm so glad your ok...I-I thank you.." Li was still in shock but then came to her senses, "I-...yo-..your welcome W-Wukong.." she responded back, leaning in and quickly giving him a kiss on his cheek, making him blush and look surprised as well, Li smiled and began to walk back to the others carefully with her walker. Leaving Wukong surprised and red from the flustering. "S-She....she liked me..she liked me back.." he thought, baffled by what had just happened and put his hand on his cheek, feeling them warm and red, him returning back to his room and trying to think.

"She KISSED MEEEEEE!!!!!!" The mischievous monkey shouted in joy, laughing loudly. "She kissed me! Me, me, me, meeeee!" He sung as he fell back onto his bed, lovestruck from what happened and smiled while putting his hands on his chest smiling but then he remembered....the nightmare. The nightmarish version of everyone and everything, the deaths....the horrific transformation he saw himself turn into....but..how...the Lady Bone Demon was banished years ago..she couldn't be back....

"Could she...?"
