•Chapter 11• {|Shut In|} •Pt.1•

"You have WHAT?!" Pigsy yelled, scolding the boy. "I-I'm sorry!! I didn't know that I could be able to wield it! I just took it back here and-" MK tried to explain, but Tang cut himself in. "This..This is the staff of the Monkey King..." Tang whispered in shock and feeling stunned by the sight of the staff, "MK...how on EARTH was you able to wield it?!" Tang asked the boy in confusion and excitement, MK tried to explain, "I found it in this old underground area and there was this redhead and some woman there! They were called the Bull King Family and they were trying to set free DBK!" MK shouted as he explained, Tang gasped by the realization of what this meant and looked at the staff. "This must mean..your his successor!" Tang spoke. "His WHAT?! Tang, this THING is probably what set free the Demon Bull King!!!" Pigsy jumped and yelled at the top of his lungs. Tang tried to reassure the angry pig, "Sit down pigsy...! Maybe this is a good thing! This is the thing that SEALED away the Demon Bull King, maybe he can be put back down! It's said in the legend that the Monkey King defeated him with his staff and sealed him away! Maybe MK could do it too, since he's chosen to wield it and be his successo-!" Pigsy interrupted the monk, "NO!! THE CITY IS AT STAKE AND NOW IS THE TIME FOR TALKING OF A LEGEND?! THE CITY IS IN DANGER-" before the pig could finish, Kenji barged himself into the restaurant and slammed the door shut, sealing it up with a table and chair, breathing heavily and holding Li Mei in his arms. MK saw Li Mei in his arms and immediately felt worried about her, Mei jumped up and also was shocked to seeing Li Mei in such a state. "L-Li!! Is she ok!? WHO hurt her?! Tell me!!" Mei said as she pulled out her green sword and her eyes glowing with a slow incoming rage, Kenji spoke. "She was attacked by Red Son..that redhead punched her in her face and..she snapped, her powers have been revealed and now I'm trying to find shelter for her..there's too many bots around the city to go back to the house..so we came here.." Tang went to the old monkey and put his hand on the girl's forehead, gasping from the cold frosting air he felt on it. "Her skin feels as cold as ice..what type of powers does she have..?" He asked, Kenji spoke once again, "Her mother had the powers of snow and ice like elements...she had a sword that was found in the icy mountains and that's when she inherited her powers..she had no idea how to control them...I didn't have such powers, but hers was different..she must've inhabited them..."

Tang was shocked by the matter and tried to sense her powers, but nothing was found. "Ice Powers..??" MK asked in confusion, "Yes child, due to the exhaustion she must've fainted, the power she holds is strong..." Kenji said, looking at the boy and then he saw the staff. His face immediately turned from calm to shock within seconds, seeing the boy wielding the staff of the Monkey King...no one can wield his staff, unless.."How..How did you find that staff child?" Kenji asked with a bit of seriousness, MK explained, "I found it in the underground place where I saw the redheaded boy and the woman, I believe to be the family of the Demon Bull King and they tried to take the staff and set DBK free!" Kenji listened and believed the boy, sighing and looking even more serious. "Listen child..that staff is the staff of the great Monkey King, he used that staff to seal away the Demon Bull King and kept it there to keep him sealed! Since that staff was taken from the seal, it broke and DBK was released from it..we have to find a way to stop this...but how.." Kenji said trying to think of any ideas.

[Meanwhile]
A small bird was soaring through the air trying to flee from the fire and saw the restaurant, it landed on the roof and switched to a butterfly and flew to a small entrance in one of the cracks to the inside, it soon found its way in and saw the few talking and arguing on what to do and sat the top of Tang's head just watching them. Then Kenji froze, sensing that they weren't alone in the room, he saw the butterfly on Tang's head and looked determined at it. "Monkey King..." he thought, knowing the colors and design of the butterfly, he knew that it was the Monkey King for sure, the butterfly fluttered it's wings a bit and flew near Li Mei, gently landing on her nose. Kenji quickly gently picked up the butterfly and looked at it in its eye's, the butterfly flinched and spoke a bit. "H-Hey! Hello Kenji! Long time no see bud! How's it been? Hehe.." it said nervously, then Kenji spoke, "Show yourself Monkey King!" He yelled, everyone stopping from the arguments and looking at Kenji with confusion and shock.

"Alright, Alright! Don't yell old friend..." the butterfly said, freeing itself from Kenji's grasp and glowing into a golden flow, morphing into multiples of animals and finally showing it's true form. A monkey like shaped figure formed from the glow and landed onto the ground, showing itself to be...Sun Wukong. MK gasped and Tang and Pigsy looked absolutely shocked by the sight before them. "OH MY GOSH!!! ITS THE MONKEY KING HIMSELF!!!" MK blurred out with extreme excitement, squealing and stunned to see the famous monkey in front of him and the others. "Yup! It is I, the one and only..soooooooo...where's my staff???" Wukong asked, looking around and down at the boy, Kenji interrupted him with a serious tone. "Where were you Monkey King? MK has released the seal of DBK and now the Demon Bull King Family is out and are destroying the city..." Wukong immediately flinched and his tail poofed up by the news, "What?! He was able to take out my staff and now DBK is out?!" MK fell onto his knees before the monkey and begged, "I'M SORRY MONKEY KING!! I was attacked by this redhead and I held the staff and I panicked!! I came back home with it! This is all my fault! Plz, I'm sorry!" Wukong looked uneasy with what the boy explained and looked out the window, he saw bull bots everywhere, searching for anything to destroy or just to take but mostly destroy and shook his head in disbelief, "Oh no...this is baaad..!" Wukong whispered under his breathe, looking as if he's about to snap. "I know Sun Wukong...but we have to stop this madness before it starts...are you able to seal him back?" Kenji asked. Wukong looked at the old monkey with a little cringe and began to sweat, "Uhhh..I WOULD..but..hehehehehe..I'm retired!" Kenji sighed and everyone was shocked, "WHAT?!" They all shouted at the monkey, Kenji tried to not cause a fight and stopped them from yelling, "Listen..maybe we can fix this..I have a plan, but we have to stay in this restaurant...we can't go out there, especially with those walking bots out there..so until we find a way to fix this, we have to shut in.." He said reassuringly. Wukong made his cloud appear and sat on it, trying to think. Then Pigsy yelled out, "OOOOOH! So NOW the lazy retired Monkey King is trying to help?! WHERE WERE YOU?!" Wukong sighed and stood his ground, staying quiet and trying to think more. "Stop it Pigsy...yelling and fighting isn't helping this, we have to plan out an escape out this city and find a way to stop DBK...maybe Wukong can help.." Tang spoke softly, trying to calm the pig before another fight breaks down. MK jumped in, "Yeah! Maybe Monkey King can join us!" Wukong looked at the boy and smiles a bit from him being nicer than Pigsy and giving him a chance, "Thanks Kid..I do have an idea, I'll board up the windows so that no one can see us and then I'll help if anything is wrong..." Wukong said, trying to help in the situation. Tang smiled a bit, "Thank you Monkey King, your being a little of a help which is great! We need to get all the help we need..." Kenji smiled a little and gave a small nod to Wukong and looked back at his granddaughter, feeling a bit worried but tried to be calm through all that happened, walking to a couch and resting her on it and rubbing her forehead gently. Wukong took a glimpse at Li Mei and looked at Kenji with a bit pity.

"She's strong Kenji..I saw what happened in the fight, it was kind of scary...but she was strong..her powers seem very strong as well. Trust me, even I was shocked!" Wukong said trying to help Kenji, Kenji gave him a small nod once again and smiled a bit. "Thank you...Wukong..she's a big fan of you like MK, ever since a child she liked your legends and stories, it warmed my heart seeing her training to be like you and being the cute little monkey she was.." Kenji made a little chuckle and Wukong began to chuckle as well. "I bet she was..you raised a great granddaughter...a great one.." said Wukong, looking at Li Mei and sitting on his cloud, resting from all the chaos.

[Later]
They all sat in that restaurant talking and trying to think of ways to fix the mess, Wukong, Sammy and Kenji having tea and trying to think of a solution while Pigsy and the rest sat back and stayed calm...let's just hope they're all safe through this, especially from...him. A monkey like silhouette walked upon the steps on the porch to the front door of Kenji's house on the hill and it's shadow growing menacingly as it slithered on the wall and the familiar figure standing on the porch and his smile growing wider and his shadow smiling as it looked at him.
