•Chapter 12• {|The War|} •Pt.1•

Kenji was asleep, snoring and peacefully in his dreams, but one thing bit at him..his past, the nightmare he was afraid to come true, from years ago...the war.

[Flashback]
Men in armor, arrows shooting, the people screaming and running for they're lives..bull bots marching in the streets and the village, destroying houses and causing nothing but ablaze and destruction...and the Demon Bull King Family on they're guard. Kenji was in his youth and with his family in the shelter, hiding from the danger and destruction, fearing to be found. "My dear, I must...the war between the Demon Bull King and the Monkey King is at hand, I have to..." Kenji spoke to his wife, Chun Fang. Kenji then spoke again, "I have to fight him on my own...he'll destroy our home, our village....you.." Chun was distraught by the idea and begged, "No Kenji...you'll be killed! The Monkey King is out there to help us, he can seal the Demon Bull King away! You don't have to..-" but she was shortly interrupted by Kenji, "I'm sorry my love..but as the leader of this village, I vowed to protect it from any evil or danger..even to protect you my dear...and our child.." he said looking at his newborn daughter, Lan Ying, who was whimpering and curled up in Chun's arms, afraid of the environment around her. Kenji sighed and grabbed his blade, pasted down from his ancestors all the way up to him, has defeated monsters for years, in his hands. He grasped it tightly and felt determined to stop the beast from destroying the village he called his home and his family.

He went to his wardrobe and was about to grab his shogun uniform but was stopped by a tug on his arm, it was Chun, her looking desperately distressed. "Kenji.....no..." she whimpered, slowly shaking her head with pleading in her eyes, Kenji looked sad for her and held his hand on her cheek and hugged and gave her a reassuring smile to calm her and they're child, "I'll be fine my love...just stay here for safety...I'll take care of the rest.." he said in a calming tone and smiled, Chun returned the smile and put her hand over his and closed her eyes. Kenji's smile grew but soon turned into a determined and serious frown, him getting up and going back to his wardrobe, finding his shogun outfit and beginning to change, his wife cradling her child and trying to calm her, but then heard a loud crash from across the village, making Kenji and the rest flinch and the screams of the people growing louder and Chun began to see silhouettes of the people running by quickly from danger and away from the bots that chased soon after them and more screams being heard, Chun grew with fear and stayed out of sight from the danger and held her child close and began to weep while Lan Ying began to cry and whine from the commotion, Kenji looked and grew angry by the attack on his village, his people, his family and land, growling and finishing putting on his shogun uniform and armor and grabbed his blade. "Stay my dear...I must finish this before it starts...I can't afford to lose you and our daughter..so plz, stay..." he whimpered under his breath to his wife and kissed her goodbye, leaving out of the shelter and making his way through the village. Seeing bull bots and monsters in the village, destroying and hurting the people, taking them as prisoner, Kenji grew furious and SLICED one of the bots head clean off its shoulders and it fell onto its knees onto the ground, oil spilling and shooting out the wound. The survivors was shocked but thankful for at last, the leader of the village has arrived. Another bull bot saw what happened and sprinted towards Kenji, sharp iron claws up and ready to slash him, Kenji looked behind him in the right moment, and SLASHED the bot in half from head to toe and oil gushed out the bot, some on the ground and on Kenji's face, him not looking unfocused for one bit as it fell to the ground.

The survivors thanked and went to him in they're chains and looked pleading, "P-Plz Kenji...! Save us from the Demon Bull King!!! He's already destroyed half of the village and taken some of the people as prisoner, help us leader..!" One begged, Kenji have a small nod and sliced the chains from they're ankles and broke the chains apart completely, letting the survivors escape. The survivors smiled with rejoice and quickly went to safety and shelter, Kenji smiles a bit and went on his way through the village and ablaze. He soon heard the blood curtailing scream of a woman and quickly went after the sound and then saw a female monkey being attacked and her holding her child away from the bots, pleading for them to not take her child away and let her go, Kenji grew furious and ran towards the bots screaming and held his blade in aim to one of them and right at the last moment the bots looked, one of them was impaled through the abdomen and sliced, Kenji completely yanking back out the blade and the insides and oil of the bot falling and spilling onto the ground, it holding it's stomach and falling on its knees and onto the ground bleeding oil out. The monkey looked shocked by the sight and felt scared but relieved, Kenji then turned to the other bots with anger in his eyes, the other bots sweated a bit but didn't stop. One of them ran towards Kenji, holding a weapon and ready to hit him, but Kenji then swiftly moved out the way and stabbed it in its side, bringing the blade up a bit, tearing it through the metal and oil and yanked it back out. The bot twitched in the sudden reaction and fell onto to the side as it dropped its weapon, a puddle of oil slowly appearing from under it. The third bot shivered and coward in fear by seeing the corpses of the first two bots and beginning to back away slowly and sprinted away, with no hesitation, Kenji threw the blade directly at the back of the bot and it went straight through the stomach, impaling it completely. Everything happening in slow motion, oil and wire gushing out everywhere and the scream of Kenji echoing in the air as the bot slowly fell onto its stomach and the oil splattering onto the ground. The monkey looked terrified but thankful to Kenji and bowed as a sigh of thanks to him, "T-Thank you Kenji..." she said, Kenji gave her a small nod and nudged his head to the direction of a clear zone of the village, no bots or monsters around the other survivors there in shelter, she looked and nodded quickly and went to the shelter.

Kenji looked back to the direction of the danger zone and sprinted forward, running through flames and seeing people running past him the other direction from the threats that were around, he kept running and saw more bots attacking more people and seeing a little girl and family in distress, when the bots was about to attack the few, a blade went straight through the head of the bot and it's body went limp, oil beginning to spill and drip out the wound and the blade slowly sliding back out, the bot falling backwards and starting to bleed out. The other bots shook a bit from the sight but stood they're ground, they looked around for what might've killed the bot, but didn't see anyone, one then got the blade impaled through its chest and punched in its nose, oil splattering everywhere and the bot falling limp onto the ground, the other flinched and began to sweat a bit, then when it turned, it saw Kenji and Kenji sliced its head clean off and oil splattering all over the blade and ground and it slid slowly off the blade and limply onto the ground. The few took the opportunity and ran for shelter and safety as Kenji looked at his blade, oil was all that was on the blade, it looking inky and gooey as it dripped from the blade onto the dirt, but Kenji only focused on the safety of his village and kept going.

As he ran, he saw a shadow on the ground, it was cloud like, he then remembered who it was, looking up above him only to see Sun Wukong on his nimbus cloud, soaring through the skies and heading to the same direction as Kenji, Kenji gasped but only smiled with confidence and Wukong looked back to see him and smiled back nodding his head to him and Kenji nodding his head back and continued running further. "Kenji! Bud! DBK is far away from the village but I can see him near the end of the town, we can make it there faster if we fly!" Wukong yelled with seriousness in his voice, but Kenji only shook his head and said "No! I'm running to our enemy, I have to stop this..!" He yelled back, Wukong made the nimbus cloud vanish and jumped down onto a store and started to run right by Kenji's side. "Cmon Kenji! I'm sure that your not strong enough to stop him! Let me!! He's my brother, I can handle this, my staff is the only thing that can stop him!!!" Wukong shouted to Kenji, Kenji looked at him with determination in his eyes, "I know...but I must try, this village is my home, the home to my people..my family..I swore from the bottom of my heart that I would protect my family no matter what...even if I have to die while doing so.." he then looked back and kept running, Wukong looked shocked but smiled with a face of confidence to Kenji and nodded to him. "Ok! Then let's go this, together! So that we can defeat this monster ONCE and for all!" He shouted, Kenji gazed at him and smiled but heard screaming from nearby and saw large amounts of bull bots in that way and stopped dead in his tracks, with Wukong stopping also, looking at the bots and looking determined to stop them. Kenji saw a family of 5 in the shelter that the bots were trying to break into and began to make a plan. "Wukong.." he muttered to the monkey, Wukong flinched and looked at him in confusion, "What??" He replied, "You rescue the family from the back..I'll take care of the bots.." Kenji spoke in a serious tone and looking at wukong directly in his eyes. Wukong looked unsure at first but agreed and held his staff tightly in his grasp and sneaked around the house and to the path on the other side. Kenji then looked at the bots with rage in his eyes and called them out, "HEY!!! Get away from them you buckets of bolts!!" He screamed, holding up his sword in aim and looking serious.

The bots looked shocked but left the family alone and began to circle Kenji, cracking they're knuckles and looked as if wanting to fight. Kenji only ignored it and looked around him in a circle like direction and sweated a bit but stood his ground, and with them taking one last step closer to the monkey, Kenji spoke...

"I have fought many in the army...and I'm sure that can fight you too...your paths of destruction ends here and now, so I say to all of you....."

"Come at me..."
