•Chapter 19• {|Overcoming Fear|} •Pt.2•

Wukong and MK was training more and Li was still sitting in her spot trying to stay calm, but the intensity only increased in her, feeling small chills go up her spine and feeling like something was crawling under her skin, she tried to calm herself with meditation or the tea Sammy gave her, but sadly nothing worked. "Cmon Li...calm down! Remember what Sammy told you! Take deep breaths, breathe...!" She thought to herself as she was inhaling and exhaling deeply and slowly, having her eyes closed and her only in her thoughts. At this point her hands were shaking and she could hear the faint sound of her heartbeat, it was getting fast and began to feel heavy against her chest, she kept having her eyes closed and all she saw was darkness...but then she heard the laughter...they sounded not too far from around her, and when she opened her eyes, she saw MK and Wukong doing they're thing, but glanced back at the ground, trying to calm her nerves. Wukong was still on his cloud, effortlessly dodging every punch or kick MK threw at him, munching on a peace and looking at a book he was reading, his eyes never leaving the pages. Wukong took a small side glance at Li and his expression went from calm to worry when he saw the state she was in, her shaking, her tail misbehaving and her fur standing on end, her trying to calm herself but she's having a hard time doing so. He looked up to get a better look at her and then looked at MK. "Hey kid, uhm...why don't you train with some dummies! I gotta excuse myself a bit, uhm..don't hurt yourself with the staff alright?" He said, getting off his cloud and having his hand on MK's shoulder. MK nodded and responded while playing with the staff, "Alright Monkey King! These dummies don't know what's comi-Whoa!!" Said MK, trying to hold the staff and keep his balance, almost hitting Wukong on the head but was blocked by his hand, him looking startled at first but calmed himself from the close impact. "Uhhh..YEAH! But seriously, don't hurt yourself kid, ok???" He asked his student, MK nodded and went to train with the dummies, leaving Wukong to do whatever he needs the do.

{Wukong's POV}
As I let MK to the dummies, I took another look back at Li, she wasn't doing great, was panicking in fact. I felt worried about her and I couldn't bare to see her like that, so I went to her. I walked to her and I saw that she was trying to meditate to keep her nerves at peace, but was not doing well, seeing her tail move around as if it had a mind of its own and couldn't calm itself. Her fur seemed puffy and crazy like, as if she was in so much distress, she started to not take care of herself very much...what exactly happened when she was out there outside the temple??? I see that she's very paranoid, but I NEVER saw her like this...it's strange. "Li..?" I asked her, she immediately snapped out her meditation and looked up, meeting eyes with me, her yelping in surprise from seeing me face to face but then calming herself shortly after. "I-...Oh! Hello Monkey King..! I haven't seen you there..I was meditating..is something wrong???" She stuttered as she asked me. She looked at me confused her still distressed, seeing her chest rise up and down oddly fast, her tho calmed by my presence. I responded to her, "Oh, uhm..no! Nothing is wrong! I just saw you sitting over here looking really unnerved, so I thought of checking on ya, you needed it..." I said, kneeling down to her level and sitting in front of her and trying to give a reassuring attitude. "Oh..well, i-it's ok Monkey King..I'm fine...just a little.....a little..." she said, looking away and sounding shy and stuttered in her voice. I responded, "A little what???" I asked, she looked nervous and sighed, mumbling under her voice. "Scared..." I felt my heart break a bit as I looked more worried from hearing her sound like that, so scared...afraid..as if she's helpless..I feel an urge to help her, so that's what I did. "Why do you feel scared..?? Did..something happen outside?? I DID hear you scream.." I said, having my face a bit closer to hers as one of my hands was on my knee and the other scratching my chin a bit, looking curious yet serious. She leaned her head away for a bit to have some room and looked even more nervous, but sighed and confessed. "Yes...something did happen outside..I was by the waterfall, the springs...I-I went to sit near the waters and looked at my reflection..but...I saw something else in it with me...it was Macaque.." she said, me hearing the shaking in her voice as she spoke and seeing the expression of anxiousness on her face. "Oh no..." I mumbled, catching her attention.
