Dabi and Hawks cannot know each other for this one-
So, this is an au. Everyone is born with a soul mark somewhere on their body. A two inch by two inch heart that's the same color as the color of their soul mate's soul, with an outline in the color of the soul of the person it's on. It's in the same place on their body as it is on their soul mate. If it's on a lost limb, the mark will move, and it will color any scar tissue over it.
Dabi's soul mark as the color of Hawks' wings, with the color of his fire as the outline.
Hawks' soul mark is the color of Dabi's fire, with the color of his wings for an outline.
For both of them it's on the outward side of their right wrist.
Any physical contact with a soul mark can be felt on the mark of your soul mate. (ie a tap, a kiss, stuff like that)
Dabi and Hawks have been communicating since they were 14 through Morse code. It took Dabi a while to realize that Hawks was using Morse (Hawks had to learn it in the government hero program). The two have only shared their first initial, wanting to save full names for when they got to meet face to face (which, Dabi of course avoids because, 1, he's a villain, and 2, he's insanely insecure about his scars.)
What happens when Dabi and Hawks finally agree to meet at a coffee shop in a less populated area?
